Amazing food - Edit
I had peanut curry with breaded cauliflower and it was really good. My partner had BBQ soy skewer with fried early potatoes and he liked it a lot too. Really recommend this place!

Exceptional! - Edit
Excellent food, excellent service, reasonable prices. But I think we were lucky to get a table when we arrived without a reservation. This place is clearly a vegan destination in Tallinn, and deservedly so.

Read moreThe restaurant is beautiful and romantic, the staff friendly and highly professional, the food delicious.
The curry is the best I have ever had in my life and the bread so good, I had to buy it and bring it back to Italy.
The place is quite small, do remember to make a reservation, you do not wanna miss the opportunity to eat here!
Pros: The delicious food, The friendly staff, The romantic atmosphere
Cons: it's too far from where I live😉

Delightful visit! Everything was lovely from the food to the staff to the wine. The beetroot ravioli was out of this world! We also had a gorgeous Estonian rhubarb sparking wine. We will definitely be back next time we visit Tallinn.

Made an account just to review this place! - Edit
Excellent food, great service. This was the best or second best of all places we ate in Tallin.
Read moreBut be warned--it's very popular, and we couldn't get a reservation for any dinner while we were there. This was even a bit early in the travel season, so if you want to have dinner at Vegan, you should probably reserve at least a week ahead.
So we had lunch, which was perfect. Yummy food, and the rye bread was so yummy that we bought a loaf and brought it back to the US!
Go there. That is all.

wow - Edit
I have never been interested in any sort of fine dining, I'm more into street food. We shared three different starters and it just blew my mind. Rarely does mixing and matching the flavors on the plate, although recommended, work as well as here. The different combinations of flavors were so new and delicious, I kind of felt like crying.

Great taste but portions could be a bit more generous - Edit
We had multiple courses and they were all delicious, but the dishes are relatively small for the price. The cake selection is superb

A must visit if in Tallinn - Edit
Cozy place, friendly staff and great food. Had the lentil lasagne, it was tasty. However the best thing was their bread, extremely tasty, don't pass the option when asked whether you want some with your food!

Very good restaurant in the old town - Edit
It was nice to have a vegan option in the old town. I had the lasagna and it was really good. I wish the portions were bigger though.

Excellent food in a beatiful setting - Edit
It's been a long time since I was in Tallinn the last time. When booking this very much ex tempore trip, I knew I had to also book a table at Vegan Restoran V. I was somewhat worried that the food wouldn't be as good as I remembered, even though based on all the recent reviews, I did dare to hope. I wasn't disappointed. The food was once again excellent, and I'm sure to come back on my next visit to Tallinn. The only problem is that all the options sound super delicious and it's difficult to choose. Whatever I have chosen during my visits to the restaurant over the years, the food has always been excellent.

Cozy and nourishing - Edit
I loved my meal here. Very cozy, calm atmosphere. I got the beet ravioli (which was a cold dish - thinly sliced beets with cashew cheese and pesto) along with their Caesar salad and the Dubai dessert. A healthy and nourishing meal! I had some local rhubarb wine too and loved it. To note, definitely make a reservation before you come here - I got lucky with a table as I came alone, but I saw them turning away many people including those asking for just a table for one. That said, definitely come here if you’re in Tallinn!

Absolutely amazing! - Edit
This place was great. From the staff to the attention to detail of the dishes. It was definitely worth the wait for that reservation.
Read moreAll of the options on the menu looked great but we settled on the BBQ skewer to share, breaded chicken for me and lentil lasagna for my partner. We finished with the orange ice cream cake and dubai dessert. Everything was so delicious. They even gave us some complimentary Estonian black bread.

Good, but I wasn't wowed - Edit
It's the only restaurant-y vegan restaurant in Tallinn (as in not a cafe or a lunch place), and it was fun to go out once for a nice dinner. That said, when I have to make a reservation 2 weeks in advance and settle for dinner at 5:30, I expect to be wowed, and I wasn't.
Read moreService is very kind and friendly and the dishes were beautifully presented, but the (expensive) spread platter was a little boring and included Violife cheese, and the fried "chicken" was very mushy and had the same consistency of the mashed potatoes it was served over. For dessert I had the lime pavlova which was okay, but the lime cream was more soupy and lacked the creaminess you expect in a pavlova. I also got a slice of the apple-almond-cinnamon cake to go and I must say that was truly divine.
All in all, this is not "gourmet" food as some reviews claim and this place is possibly a bit overhyped, but it was a nice experience and the food was tasty despite the shortcomings.

Very good - Edit
Maybe I didn’t pay enough attention but I expected the beetroot ravioli would be a pasta dish, not a filling between slices of beetroot. It was delicious nonetheless, quite small. The lentil lasagne was not quite as good. The creamy sauce was delicious but it was quite thin and difficult to mix enough with the lasagne to maximise the flavour. The Dubai dessert was nice. The chocolate was a bit strong for the ice cream and overpowered the pistachio flavour. The texture of the ice cream was excellent. We had some complimentary Estonian black bread, which was amazing.

Lovely, again - Edit
V is always a delight, but as there is nowadays more vegan options almost everywhere, it doesn't seem as incredible and amazing as it once was. We had risotto, a "chicken" file with mash and brownies with cherry sauce and ice cream. Dessert was excellent but the mains could have had more depth somehow.

Charming - Edit
A charming vegan restaurant, nicely decorated with a good vibe. My waiter was very friendly. I opted for the ‘tofish’ dish which was really nicely presented (very Instagrammable) and had generous portions of all the accompaniments (including vegan caviar). I would’ve liked a bit more of the tofu and I felt the raw leek overpowered the flavour of the dish as a whole, it might have been more mellow if it was cooked.
