Delicious, heavy - Edit
Stopped by for a bite here as my family was staying nearby. The food is delicious, though personally I wouldn’t eat here often because the emphasis is on processed faux meats and there isn’t much that’s healthier. After lunch here I felt full all day and skipped dinner. That said, they do their thing very well. Service is efficient and warm.

Best vegan food in NYC - Edit
A small but mighty vegan spot in the city. Plenty of options for the ultimate comfort food and portions are huge! Reasonably priced, service is quick and staff are super friendly and helpful. Only slight downside is there is limited seating available inside but we managed to get a space both times we went so this might not be an issue, depending on how busy it is. You don’t wanna miss this place!

Do not overlook this little hole in the wall if you're hunting for vegan food that sets itself apart from all the other vegan spots in the city. This place has the best vegan food I've had to date in NYC and I don't say that lightly. First, the drumsticks. Best drumsticks ever, and they make them with the sugarcane and all. They were delicious. I also got the gyro with their house white sauce and house-made seitan that was cooked in some red sauce and it was all delicious. If I didn't live in another state, I'd be throwing away my paycheck at this place every day. Their mac and cheese is also to die for. And the employee who was working there when I went (Jen?) was super friendly and patient - hard to find that in NYC. Will definitely be hitting up this place again and trying out everything else on their menu!

We got the impossible chopped cheese and the chicken chopped cheese and they were just ok. Indoor dining was closed when we went, so we had to take our food to the park to eat. I probably wouldn’t go back, but if I did I would get something else.

Vegan on the fly is truly one of my go to places in the city! The food is fantastic and you get a lot of rare items that you can’t get anywhere else. The vegan Gyro is amazing! Jennifer, one of the staff members, was so sweet and so nice I can’t wait to go back! We love vegan on the fly. We love Jennifer!

This place is absolutely delicious, best vegan gyros I’ve ever had. The staff is the absolute best, super super nice and were incredibly kind to our little kids who were more energetic than they needed to be at the restaurant! Also incredible desserts. Anyone visiting or living in NYC should check it out.

Blink-and-you'll miss it place near Rockefeller Center. Iskender was delicious nice to have a change from falafel. A good range of gluten free too. Nice and peaceful in the small area out the back too away from the hubbub

In NYC and wanted to try Tampa’s Vegan International’s sister resturaunt, Vegan on the Fly! I was not disappointed! Only one complaint; my pineapple ginger drink wasn’t very sweet. I may have gotten a bad batch, but otherwise the food was great!!

Fast food at its best. The food was great and fast as it’s supposed to be. But the eating area outside seems to be bit dirty and not welcoming while inside pretty claustrophobic.
