Good prices, a bit different from Tokyo one - Edit
I went several times to the one in Tokyo, this offer some different things. I think the tokyo one has slightly bigger portions and more juicy. This one offer lunch kits for really good price. I will come back to try more things.

So good I wanted to cry - Edit
Y'all, listen. I became vegetarian a few years ago and I never thought I'd have the experience of eating steak again. I don't exactly miss meat, but I grew up DEEP in Texas. I know good steak.
Read moreThe soy yakiniku I had here tastes exactly like steak. Good steak. It tripped me out, I was absolutely blown away, and it was weirdly nostalgic for me.
Every single menu item my wife and I had was FANTASTIC. The grilled rice balls with the miso sauce? I'd climb mount Inari on my hands to get more of that stuff. The tofu with yuzu sace? ⚡💥🔥🤘🥳 Everything was amazing
If you're vegetarian/vegan, you need to stop by here while you're in Kyoto. I would legit go 45 minutes out of the way to eat here.

I'm trying to find soy yakiniku in the menu but can't find anything related. Do you mean what's inside the karaage?

Good food friendly staff - Edit
Good food but not wow either. The map tofu tasted a bit different from what I'm used to, not in a bad way but it's not my favourite. Friendly staff

Perfect, no notes! - Edit
After my first time eating here, I knew I’d have to come back on my second trip to Kyoto. Such an awesome vegan place located in the heart of the city. Compared to their branch in Tokyo this place is so much more spacious with a more welcoming atmosphere. Everything is reasonably priced, and my personal highlight was the kaarage with the tartar sauce and the fried mushroom. Texture and flavour were on point. The tartar sauce is incredible, it also tastes and feels so much like egg I had to do a double take at first.

Great! - Edit
I was a tad skeptical because I just had an okay experience at the one in Tokyo, but this was awesome. The service was excellent, the interior was much nicer and more comfortable, and the food was top notch. Get the fried maiitakes!

I agree with other posts - excellent food! If you’re vegan and in Kyoto this is the place you must try!
Read moreThe dishes are not that expensive, but the danger is that everything is so good that you’ll want to keep ordering more! I had the spring rolls, fried maitake mushrooms, shrimp mayo, fried chicken namban, hot sake, and matcha ice cream - all delicious! (Total of 5,150 yen for one person)

Andate a provarlo :)

Lovely Vegan Restaurant in Kyoto - Edit
We came here during our stay in Kyoto. The staff and service are just lovely. The vibes in the restaurant are also great. Many options, fully vegan and it was all delicious. My favorite was the ‘shrimp’ with sauce. So yummy. A must visit if you’re in Kyoto

Must-try in Tokyo - Edit
I love that there is a vegan izakaya in Tokyo. It got quite full and was quickly unavailable after 7pm-8pm on a weekend. The karaage and fried mushrooms were so good with beer. Highly recommend!

It’s a party for lunch :-) - Edit
Beautiful interior, friendly staff, and delicious food! Shumai, Manchurian Cauliflower and fried mushrooms were favorite dishes. But, really, everything was fantastic. Lunchtime was not at all crowded, so could be a good choice.

Delish - Edit
Second trip even better than the first! I came back from dinner after finding out that there are fewer options at lunch. Got a table right away. Order with QR code menu - is very easy. A few people in the resturant seemed annoyed at having to wait for food but ours seemed pretty prompt. We had gyoza, mapo tofu, tempura, depp fried broccoli and karaage. Had a lot fo good karaage but this is prob the best. And the broccoli was amazing. Super nice server was totally fluent in English. Personally I love the location in the crazy food court and the basic decor of the restaurant. Don't come here if you like fancy dining but if you want tasty food then this is the place.

Great “meat”balls! - Edit
We loved this place! Very comfy and great food. We got some mapo tofu and rice, which was amazing! Then eggplant kimchi, 10/10 recommended. Last but not least we got some meatballs, some with sichuan pepper sauce and some with yuzu ponzu. These meatballs were crispy on the outside, while extremely juicy and tasty at their core.
