Incredible service and great food - Edit
We had cashew hummus, sweet potato fries, a marinara pizza, stuffed courgette, and a vegetable stew, all of which were delicious and some of the best vegan food we've had in a restaurant. Staff were also very friendly and keeping our son amused with their humour.

Not many protein options - Edit
We had lunch here with a kid, I had a lasagna, and a salad, the kid had a burger.
Read moreLasagna was good, a salad was great but a bit pricey, the kid enjoyed her burger. I tried it it was decent, both fries and patty.
However, even though there are a lot of options on the menu, there not many of high protein ones.

I want more!!!! - Edit
Omg this was so good! I had the Brassói Stew and the potatoes were so well cooked that they seemed to "melt" in my mouth and the spices were delicious. This might be my new favorite food ever!
Read moreNote that the allergens on the menu sometimes did not seem to be correct, for example the cauliflower medaillon is cooked with soy milk but soy is not mentioned as an allergen. However, the serving staff was very involved in helping my boyfriend pick a dish without soy. They also asked the kitchen about the soy just in case.
Overall I would definitely come back if I had the chance

Went last night and two days prior. Amazing food, easy as an English speaker to order. Everything was very rich and flavourful. A bit too large portions to have starter main and dessert personally.

Chell - Edit
Service was poor. Left waiting to be seated, while 3 staff members looked at us. So we sat ourselves down. One couple just walked off. The place was not busy.
Read moreOrdered wine and food at the same time. Food was there before we had the chance to drink any wine. Felt like it was a microwave job. Food was cold.
Pudding was lovely.
One waiter dropped a jug of water over the couple in front of us. Asked this same waiter for the bill. Ten minutes later we asked another waiter who bought us over the bill.
Pros: Pudding
Cons: Service, Cold food

Pretty good - Edit
Good selection of traditional dishes made vegan.
Read moreMy dish was tasty but sauce was described on menu as being spicy tomato, which it was definitely not. Pea protein was good though. The vegan burger with sweet potato chips was excellent.
We also had deserts but I have to say that I felt like I’d eaten an ultra processed fest. I may not be correct in saying this and it might be my fault for making my choices but I prefer more simple fruit and veg dishes.
Pros: Modified traditional dishes to be vegan
Cons: Felt too ultra processed for me

Mid, not worth the price - Edit
The staff was reasonably friendly, but the food okay at best. It was too cold and the "hungarian stew" tasted like the failed version of a stir fry with what's left in the fridge. We were disappointed, vegan restaurants in the same price class are usually delicious, fun and inspiring.

Hungarian dining on an indoor patio - Edit
We picked this place because of the many positive reviews. We were not disappointed. All the food we had was delicious. Service was great.
Read moreWe started out with the Hortobagyi pancake in a paprika sauce. We also had the spiced cottage cheese spread bread. We shared the main course mushroom papardelle. We ended our dinner with the famous Hungarian cream cake. Save room. The cake is huge! This place was a winner.
Pros: Lots of vegan options to choose from., A chance to try some Hungarian specialties
Cons: It’s 100° outside, still toasty on patio
