Delicious authentic vegan Cuban food - Edit
Vegan Cuban food can be hard to come by, so we had to try this place. The Cuban sandwich was delicious and satisfying. The ajiaco soup was full of flavor and super comforting. The bean and rice bowl was great as a healthier option; the boiled yuca was particularly memorable. The guava and cheese pastel was also incredible. We also LOVED their cafe con leche, both iced and hot, and we enjoyed the mamey smoothie. Overall we loved the chance to try the vegan rendition of many authentic dishes that we had never been able to try before. The portions were a little bit small for the price, but overall worth it.

Stopped on a road trip to Key West to find a pleasant surprise at Vegan Cuban Cuisine. I really enjoyed Ham Croquets, Papas Rellenas (Potato Balls), and Cubanito Sandwiches. Unique Vegan Experience.

Was excited to try vegan Cuban cuisine. I ordered a lot 😀 Nothing was bad, everything was good; but some better than others. I enjoyed the beef empanadas the cheese sticks and breakfast burrito the most.

Amazing! - Edit
I was so excited to try this restaurant while visiting the area because I’ve been veg since my mid teens and never got to try most Cuban food since it’s not veg friendly. It did not disappoint! Everything was incredibly delicious that my partner and I shared (Cubano sandwich, tostones, bunuelos, guava pastry). I also had a delightful iced maple matcha.

Vegan + Cuban = love - Edit
Cuban food is not vegan friendly, even the bread has lard, so this spot is such a treat! I’ve been here several times, I try to get different things every time. The yucca fries are perfect. Their cilantro crema is addicting. Great croquetas and sandwiches.

A Must-Try for Food Lovers! - Edit
Vegan Cuban Cuisine is nothing short of a culinary gem!
Read moreI had the pleasure of trying Vegan Cuban Cuisine’s Cuban Sandwich and Frita Slider, and both were absolutely incredible! The Cuban Sandwich was a perfect blend of flavors and textures, with smoky plant-based “ham,” melty vegan cheese, tangy pickles, all pressed to crispy perfection in buttery bread. It was so authentic and satisfying, I almost forgot it was vegan! The Frita Slider was equally impressive. These dishes are must-tries for anyone looking to experience vegan food at its finest!
What sets Vegan Cuban Cuisine apart is the passion and creativity behind every dish. They’ve managed to capture the heart of Cuban cooking while making it accessible to everyone. This restaurant is proof that vegan food can be indulgent, satisfying, and packed with flavor.
If you’re in the area, make it a priority to visit Vegan Cuban Cuisine. It’s not just a meal; it’s an experience you won’t forget!

authentic Cuban food! - Edit
My partner and I ordered the Cuban burrito, croquetas (ham and chickpea), garlic bread, iced matcha maple latte, picadillo bowl, and tiramisu to go! Picadillo is really yummy! I didn't like the croquetas personally but that doesn't mean they weren't good. Matcha was sweet and delicious. We took the tiramisu to go but by the time we got home it was an inedible puddle so definitely eat it right away. Can't wait to come back and try the cafe bombón! Side note: loved the eco-friendly silverware! 🍴

Vegan Cuban? Impossible! - Edit
I've eaten here several times and not one item has been disappointed. They serve all the cuban classics and more so everyone has something. I even had my very non-veg hispanic family to try it and they were all surprised and delighted by the food! They loved the croquetas, imperial rice, and the vegan beef. They were in disbelief. Once they open their indoor dining, I will definitely be going more often since the takeout hurts the quality of the food in my opinion.

You can only order from a kiosk and then someone bribes out the food so upon first approach it’s a very impersonal experience. But there’s a bell you can ring if you have questions and someone appears out of nowhere.
There signs on the windows that say indoor dining coming early 2023…. Don’t know if they’re still working on that or what
Pros: Yummy, Lots of things to try, Some stuff is pretty cheap
Cons: No indoor seating

Get your system in order - Edit
Spent nearly 40 minutes trying to place an order. The kiosk and table QR codes are not working correctly. Tried apple pay and two cards and nothing worked. I kiss the days of someone taking my order and paying after we eat. And being able to use cash. We had to leave because we had a reservation for a show. Wish I could've tried the food
