I wonder how come I haven't rated this amazing place. First of all, the owner is a great person who offers food to volunteers and sends food to affected areas, during climate crisis events (e.g wildfires or floods).

Mixed bag. The staff was super friendly, but the seating area wasn’t very pleasant. The hummus and pita bread were amazing, the seitan burger was great, but the Greek meal was only alright, and the boss burger was not good.

I'd heard good things so was expecting better. I had the cauliflower bites burger which came on a dry pretzel bun, it was big & filling but nothing exceptional. My girlfriend had a really nice bowl with celeriac puree & giant beans, it was really good but maybe not worth the price. Compared to other places this is quite exoensive probably because it's in a very busy tourist area. To me it felt like a vegan chain food, not a lot of love in it.

Everything we had was very tasty. We had the cauliflower nuggets, 3 dips Combo with 2 pittas, Moussaka, Big Boss Burger, carrot hot dog, eat like a Greek, mushroom Gyros, Bannoffee and Snickers tart. 🤤

Vegan Beat Athens is one of my go-to spots in the city and has been for years now. The food is consistently delicious, offering a healthier twist on vegan Greek-style street food. Their peach kombucha is still the best I’ve ever had!

We went here based on another review which claimed they did the best gyros in Athens, and the food was incredible! We had the gyros, potato spiral and seitan boss burger. Definitely recommend, and prices were reasonable for the portion size and quality.

Best vegan gyros of Athens - Edit
We tried vegan gyros in a couple of places, but this place's "Space Gyros" is by far our favourite. The mushrooms are really tasty, and the price for a pita is great (just 5 euros). We came back another day and also tried the meatballs and moussaka: the first was really nice, but we did not really love the moussaka (might be just our taste of course), the cauliflower bechamel was quite overpowering. But we definitely recommend this place! You should also try their kombucha's.

Fun atmosphere and staff. Outdoor casual seating with generous servings of food. We enjoyed the vegan potato egg salad (crazy realistic eggs), carrot hot dog (large) tsimitsouri burger and skepasti pita with a side of spiral potato. The salad and burger have a good deal of cilantro in case thats not your thing.

The place is pretty popular so you might have to wait a few minutes to get a table, but the staff is very nice, they give you the menu so you can choose before you could sit down. It’s healthy and very tasty, and you can choose from a lot of great options.

Read moreJ'avais repéré ce petit restaurant en recherchant où manger Vegan à Athènes avant mon voyage. Il était dans les recommandations et étant de passage entre l'Acropole et Monastiraki, j'en ai profité.
Je ne regrette absolument pas, le personnel est absolument adorable, le service est rapide et convivial et les plats sont à tomber. J'ai opté pour le Lahmajoun servi avec une salade et mes papilles ont été ravies! J'ai également goûté le gyro aux champignons, délicieux et copieux !
Pour accompagner le tout, un jus de citron pressé et frais avec une touche de menthe, gingembre et curcuma pour se désaltérer.
Compter moins de 10e pour manger et boire et vous n'aurez plus faim, croyez moi !

Absolutely fantastic food - no other word to describe it. Both vegans and non-vegans in our group and everyone thoroughly enjoyed. The mushroom gyros were delicious - I do not like mushrooms but these were fabulous. A must go for vegans in Athens!

Our favorite in Athens. Not expensive, with large portions that more than satisfy, and friendly service. Seating is only available outdoors. The benches and tables are invitingly designed. Whether for takeout or dining there, it's definitely recommended.

Nous avons pris des nuggets de chou-fleur en entrée, excellentes, puis le carrot hot dog (très généreux et goût incroyable!) ainsi que les spirales de pommes de terre . Petit bémol sur les pdt très/trop cuites et croustillantes qui étaient donc les chips. Le prix est également un peu élevé.
