Above and Beyound - Edit
First things first, the food was exceptional. We typically on Sundays do a mid-morning walk with our two dogs and then find a vegan and pet-friendly restaurant. Vegan Avenue has patio seating to accommodate pets. This was our first visit. However; this Sunday they were hosting an outdoor market for local vendors which precluded their normal outdoor seating. Without being asked, the owner offered to bring out a table to the sidewalk to accommodate us. We accepted and thoroughly enjoyed the food and ambiance. The service was relaxed but very attentive. We will be returning. Our menu selections were the Mexican Hash and the Cheese Steak Omelet. Outstanding.
Read morePros: Excellent food, Great menu selections, Good sized portions.
Cons: Service was touch more relaxed but fine.

Delish! - Edit
We had carne asada fries split by 4 people - they were delicious and abundant. We also had Pozole, a breakfast plate, a Beyond Beef breakfast sandwich, and the Mexican Hash and ended up with significant leftovers. All dishes were fantastic and left us wanting this restaurant in Austin, TX where we live!

Food is good but service needs more improvement - Edit
I just want to say for the price the food was good just not awesome, the service does need improvement we came by twice and both times the place was packed so I can understand why it would be slow, However my Wife and I ordered $10 cocktails and our drinks where made quickly, but they were sitting at the bar for at least 5 min and would of stayed longer if I didn't ask for them. We finally got our food one at a time. Both of us where starving, I got my food first and felt bad to eat so waited another 5 min for my wife to get her food for me to start eating. Food wise the restaurant has really good food except for the hash browns the hash browns where really really greasy.

5 star Mexican restaurant - Edit
Family owned and operated - very friendly staff with an authentic feel/vibe. Food was fabulous. It is a bit on the pricey side but to be expected for this quality of product and service.

Delicious - Edit
This place is really cute with great customer service. I LOVE their tres leches pancakes. They’re not too sweet and it’s so fluffy with fresh berries. Another favorite is their Juicy Lucy Burger. OMG! I’ve have tons of different vegan burgers from different travels and this is my favorite. SO flavorful and fresh. They’re BLTA is also very delicious. Both items come with fries. They’re steak cut style. I can’t wait to try other menu items. I really appreciate all the flavors and fresh ingredients. You can tell they take great pride in their food creations. Definitely worth checking out!

Great food! - Edit
The quesadillas and chicken and waffles were soooo good and packed with flavor! I honestly thought the the syrup could’ve been a little seeeter but that may just be a preference.
Read moreService was lacking a little as it was a one woman show for all the customers and the electricity in the kitchen ended up going out while we were there, luckily we received our food before this happened.
But al in all still really good. Especially my cucumber lemonade!

Been to a few spots in life. Just came down from Austin wondering where I was gonna get a good fix. Found it. Had the CheezeSteak Omelet. Get the red and green salsa. Bomb yo. Sit outside it’s shaded. Will be back soon.

Nice find! - Edit
This little place is yummy! My brother and I stopped in for lunch and was happy we found it. Our server was polite and friendly. The prices were not bad considering the serving sizes were pretty good. I left full and that’s usually hard to achieve. I will be going back to try other options. The only thing that troubling (why I can’t give the last star) is that the servers seemed to become overwhelmed when the place got a bit busy. We waited for our food a bit longer than I thought necessary but it was worth it. The flavors shined!

Vegan Avenue/Marla - Edit
Exceptional food, great service! Server was highly informed on the ingredients of each dish. The only problem that I had was finding the place, as Vegan Avenue is not a restaurant itself, but a menu section of the restaurant Marla. Kind of confusing if you're from out of town.
