Lovely all vegan bakery/café - Edit
My friend and I arrived a bit after 3pm on a Saturday and a lot was already completely sold out. We ended up trying the Nordic mudcake, and even though chocolate cake is rarely my go-to, this was so delicious! You can just taste the good quality. I also had an iced latte which was good (plenty of different plant milks to choose from, even potato milk). Will definitely go back again (a bit earlier next time 😁)!

So happy to finally have a fully vegan bakery in Helsinki! So rare to see vegan treats that don’t have any artificial flavors, so I’m definitely buying all the sweets I need from here in the future🤍

Some of the best baked goods I’ve ever eaten. If you’re in Helsinki, make sure to visit this place. I also loved that they had a charity collection box for animal rights by the counter.

We tried three different pastries and all of them were delicious! Best vegan pastries I’ve had in Helsinki. Coffee is good too. They have many different plant based milk options which is a huge plus if oat milk is not something that you drink. Next time I am going to try potato milk!

I’m so happy there’s one more totally vegan café in Finland! But the quality was a disappointment. The maritozzo bun was completely dry and tasteless and the whipped cream wasn’t great either. The sandwich made of potato bread was also very tasteless. I heard other customers complaining about the bostock being too dry as well. I wouldn’t recommend this place for an omnivore person.
Read moreThe service was very good and you can have filter coffee as much as you want for just the cost of one cup. I like the interior and music but the terrace is uncomfortable because it’s just a few metal chairs and tiny tables on a street were people walk by so close that you have to be careful they don’t stumble by your feet.
Vegalicious sells oat based soft ice cream but for some reason only on Saturdays. This is the only place in Finland to offer barista potato milk! It’s surprisingly good.

We take great pride in the quality of everything we make as our products are made from scratch using the best ingredients, which can feel quite different from more processed baked goods. They are also enriched and slow fermented so the result can never be "flavorless"...

The owner Ilse (known also from St. George and Magu) is a GENIUS in conjuring up the best pastries you could hope for! I’m so glad she opened her own place, which is so pretty and has a great atmosphere. Everything is to die for! A must visit when in Helsinki, this is easily my favourite place to get a slice of cake or a pastry!

There was a great selection of different cakes and other sweet treats, as well as a savory option. I had delicious New York cheesecake with spicy hot chocolate, a perfect combination! Usually I don’t like to have hot chocolate with cake, it feels too sugary, but the spicy hot chocolate has an intense chocolate flavor without all the sugar.

Vegalicious serves delicious and inventive pastries. The atmosphere is cosy and relaxed. The staff is friendly and helpful. We got a thorough introduction to all that was on offer. My absolute favourite was the lemon and poppy seed cakette, which was a perfect balance of sweet and tangy.
