Delicious cute vegan bakery - Edit
We weren't planning on visiting Helsinki but missed our connection so made the most out of it by exploring the city. Glad we did because we found this delicious vegan bakery where we bought cake for our son's birthday.

In my life I never understood the hype behind sausage rolls. I think they are an easy to eat party food yet some cultures (ahem UK and Denmark) seem to adore them.
Read moreThis place in Finland made me understand. The savoury pastry was fluffy and light, the sausage rich and very slightly spicy, the tomato sauce as the cherry on top.
And then there is the Nutella roll. Stop reading and just try them out yourself!

If you’re vegan and love a good cake / pastry / savoury snack and love to have those alongside a splendid coffee, do yourself a favour and make a trip down here. Gorgeous surroundings, friendly staff, and a lovely quiet location. Gets quite busy though so you might wanna ask about reserving a table, but they also have the terrace outside if the weather is decent. I wanted all the cakes.

I guess I don't have to add anything to the title of this review. The cinnamon rolls were just incredible; the coffee was also ok. But the main reason to stop by would definitely be the cinnamon rolls.

I got an assortment of vegan butter cookies for christmas. The owner is lovely and the cookies thoroughly impressed my omnivore in-laws, even a grandmother who finds vegan food by default suspicious. 10/10, can’t wait to try more of their stuff. This place would have a PhD in vegan pastries, if such were awarded to cafes.

Honestly one of the best vegan bakeries I have been to. Came from the UK where such bakeries are scarce and it was so nice that just a short walk from the city centre is such a nice place. The food was delicious and the staff were just excellent. The decor was also very cute making for a nice spot to sit and relax.

Love this place. Fully vegan and I’ve loved everything I’ve tried. The peanut butter banana cake, which they seem to have available daily, is hands down one of the best things I’ve ever eaten. I was also able to snag one of their apple cinnamon rolls with cream cheese frosting, which was an achievement because they’ve been selling out very quickly! I also tried their filter coffee which was yummy. Hope to be back soon to try other treats too 😇

It’s always nice to find a fully vegan cafe. It was tasty, but to be honest no extraordinary. Potato Milk didn’t fully convince me, it was good but i would prefere oat (which they also had!). Unfortunately we went when the cafe closed and I saw how they threw the leftovers in the trash bin :((

Sorry to hear that the DUG milk was not of your liking, it is actually very popular among our customers and we are proudly the first place in Finland offering it. We are surprised about the part were you say that we throw away the left overs? We NEVER do that as we rarely have them and the staff ALWAYS takes them home if there is any. Maybe it was some expired cream or else? But definitely not a fresh fully done product.

Had a great experience here! The coffee was really nice (pleasantly surprised by the potato milk!) and the pastry super yummy. Also was able to chat with the owner, who was very friendly and welcoming (as was the rest of the staff)

Vegalicious was so good that we visited it three days in a row during our stay in Helsinki in August 2025. We sat in once and took away the other twice and everything we tried was delicious. As well as ordering cakes, we also tried the savoury option they had on the day we sat in and this was lovely too. I've attached photos with descriptions so people can see what we had. Absolute favourite was the wild blueberry and vanilla maritozzi. Also tried a blueberry soda which was very nice. The staff were lovely and the prices were pretty reasonable for Helsinki, especially given the time and effort that must go into making these delicious treats.

Extremely tasty pastries and all of them are vegan. My friends and me shared the mud cake, the banana peanut butter bread (?), and something I dont remember the name of but it looked like a bun with some kind of cream on top.
Read moreAll of them were great. Lovely staff as well. Reserve a table well in advance if you want a guaranteed seat, it's very small and offers limited outdoor space. All pastries also for takeaway though.

My friend and I arrived a bit after 3pm on a Saturday and a lot was already completely sold out. We ended up trying the Nordic mudcake, and even though chocolate cake is rarely my go-to, this was so delicious! You can just taste the good quality. I also had an iced latte which was good (plenty of different plant milks to choose from, even potato milk). Will definitely go back again (a bit earlier next time 😁)!
