Incredible food! - Edit
I didn't understand how it worked so I just asked the worked which one to get and she recommended a few, so I ordered number 9. you then get to choose two sides from the front and they had the number, and upstairs has burgers/pizza etc.
Read morethe dish I got was amazing, it was filled with flavour and for a full meal and drink it was only £8. Will definitely be returning before I leave.

Vegan polish food - Edit
I loved to regain the tastes of my childhood at this place. There are several traditional and not so traditional dishes to choose from. I opted for buckwheat (Kasza) with stroganoff gulasch and two types of typical polish salad (Surówka) and of course a Kompot to drink ;)
Read moreThe prices are also very good. The only negative thing is that it felt a bit more like a canteen than a restaurant and the staff was very busy.
Pros: Authentic polish dishes, Good prices
Cons: Canteen atmosphere

Straight from Babcias Kitchen - Edit
Let me start by saying: Vega has two spaces and two menus in the same building.
Read moreI have only been to the ground floor level.
Amazing polish cuisine, super delicious, so affordable and tastes like straight from (vegan) Babcias (Grandmas) kitchen 🙌
For many dishes, you can choose two types of salads from at least 5 different ones, maybe more. I don’t remember because I really only had eyes for three kinds kapusta (cabbage) salad 😍
The best !! 🙌
The staff is super kind, friendly, knowledgeable and helps to understand the dish options.
I loved everything I tried and wished I had tried more.
To go I also had a tofu tortilla wrap and woah, the flavours so balanced, the texture so perfect. Not too dry, not dripping all over me. Just perfect.
Also highly recommend the Kompot. It’s a drink from boiled fruits, with pieces of the fruit still in there. Like chunks you can eat after you finish drinking. Just try 🙌
Pros: Great food, Kind staff, Cute place

Poor service - Edit
A 100% vegan restaurant and cafe right in the centre of Wroclaw.
Read moreWhen I arrived for breakfast at approximately 10:40 this morning, I was the only customer, but seven more people arrived shortly afterwards. I mention this, because I wasn't happy with the service considering how quiet this restaurant was.
I was handed a menu at the counter and I immediately ordered an espresso, which was made and brought to my table within a few minutes. I then went back to the counter to order my granola breakfast and to ask what flavour smoothies they make, as it said to ask on the menu. The waitress looked at the fridge, and then said "we don't have smoothies today." She seemed really bored, fed up, didn't smile to any of the customers and gave me the impression that she didn't want to work today. There was a chair by the toilets, where she often went to sit on to look at her phone. And when she wasn't there, she sat on a stool behind the counter, also looking at her phone.
My table was also really sticky. My paper napkin got stuck to it and ripped when I went to lift it up to use. And even my book got slightly stuck to it.
On the positive, my espresso and granola with warm milk were both really good. On the menu it stated that the granola came with dried fruits, but mine came with fresh fruits, which was great.
I had intended to stay longer, read my book and have another coffee, but I decided to spend my time relaxing elsewhere.
The espresso was 10 PLN and my granola cost 19 PLN.
Pros: Espresso, Granola
Cons: Awful service, Sticky tables

Awesome - Edit
I was a bit hyped coming to this place, and I didn't get disappointed. The staff was very friendly, the atmosphere was nice, and the food was delicious. I had the Pizza Pera, and it was so yummy. And I finally got my piece of cake today. If you are looking for good, fully vegan food for a fair price, this is the place to be.

Two restaurants in one! - Edit
As others have said there are Two restaurants. The one upstairs was not as obvious. The downstairs one is not quite cafeteria style as in that you can go down a line and take whatever you want. It has several options that are pre-cooked behind the counter. We did that and it was very tasty. We might try the upstairs tomorrow 😊 I'm posting pictures of both menus.

Recommended!! - Edit
We came here and were greeted by such nice and friendly staff!! That was the first plus, the second was the good food! But okay, back to the staff, when we arrived we were given a very nice welcome and a guide around the ground floor and first floor, which was basically, more like a restaurant on the first floor and faster food on the ground floor. We fell in love with the tortillas that they served in a small kick on the ground floor, when we ordered we had to choose if we wanted it spice or plain and we chose spicy. I had the seitan and it was DELICIOUS!! Will definitely go here again during my stay in Wroclaw, and you should too. :)
Read moreAnd the day after: We went here again and this time I went upstairs and ordered a bimbimbap. It was amazing!! My partner took a pizza and it was also a good treat.

A solid opening - Edit
My first stop in Wrocław had to be Vega – Poland’s oldest veg restaurant, and a great-looking place too.
It wasn’t as busy as I expected, but I did feel a bit rushed to order, and unfortunately, my first choice wasn’t available. I went with the samosa plate instead, which came with two salads of my choice, sour cream, and a smoky dressing.
The salads were excellent – fresh, vibrant, and the pickled one in particular stood out. It was lightly done and far better than other versions I’ve had elsewhere. The samosa itself was different from what I’m used to – wrapped in a thicker puff pastry rather than the traditional thin shell – but still tasty and satisfying.
Overall, a fantastic lunch: fresh, filling, and just what I needed to fuel up before heading back out to explore the city.
Pros: Health , 100% , Staff

Best in Wroclaw since 1987 - Edit
I used to go to vega every week over 20 years ago when I lived in Wroclaw. Now when I visit still go there and I’m never disappointed. Food is out of this world, my favourite are Placek po wegansku and Korean bowls. I rarely eat deserts at restaurants because I’m a pastry chef myself and I’m usually disappointed with cakes in the restaurants but Vega’s gluten free tiramisu is the best I’ve ever had.

Good food, friendly staff - Edit
Being my first time to Poland, I asked the staff for their recommendation. They helped guide me to two choices from the downstairs menu which were both great. The pierogi’s took a few minutes but were well worth it. It was busy but not hard to find a place to sit. Food was delicious and filling!
