I had really high hopes for this place since it gets such good reviews on happy cow, but everything tasted like what someone would make when they first start cooking vegan food. The atmosphere was nice as was the service, but the food was really underwhelming.
Read moreWe tried the sopecitos, the poblana pizza, and the sencillo hot dog. The sopecitos were fine but we couldn’t really taste the chorizo, and the tortilla or masa was dense and not crispy at all. The pizza had canned corn on top and the same issues with the crust. The hot dog was also meh. The coconut bacon didn’t taste like bacon, and the bun was a bit dry. The potatoes were also starchy and seemed a bit undercooked. The best thing about the meal were the sauces, chimichurri, spicy salsa, and a great salsa verde.
Not terrible but just okay.

No las fotografíe pero tienen unas empanadas muy ricas, pedí de espinacas y otra hawaiana y de verdad muuuy buenas, el queso se derrite y la hacen al momento.

Incredible pizza. We had the Mexican pizza and used the chimichurri and pepper sauces they provide on the side and they were very delicious. The sopecitas were also very delicious. I loved the cashew cream they used and the salsa verde paired perfectly.

Cute spot with outdoor seating - Edit
The location was pretty small but had some outdoor dining which made it much easier to get a table. The waiter was also very kind and dealt with our poor spanish haha. The menu was a bit on the small side but everything we got was very fresh. We got the brocheta caprese which had pretty decent vegan mozzarella and really good marinated tofu. We also got the Al pastor pizza which had amazing toppings, however I was not a big fan of the crust. Overall, a pretty decent place. I would give it a 3.5/5 but we can't do half stars on here.

In researching vegan restaurants in advance of my trip to Mexico City, I was very excited to try this place. I found it to be kind of disappointing. I got a cheese and corn empanda, which I liked a lot. I also got a pepperoni pizza and found it to be on par with many frozen pizzas... not bad, but also not very exciting.

We ate here twice towards the end of our trip to CDMX. I wish we had discovered it earlier! Small casual restaurant with indoor and sidewalk seating. The server was friendly and responsive. The food: pizza al pastor was yummy. So was the Mexican pizza. We also enjoyed the homemade agua fresca.

Super cute atmosphere inside or outside. Staff was friendly and the food was unbelievable. I ordered 3 different dishes to try and I couldn't believe how good each was, best I've had so far in Mexico City. I'm going back to try everything I didn't get this time!

Best Meal in CDMX - Edit
The food here was so unique and delicious! We were sad to try it at the end of our trip when we didnt have time to return. Now we have a good excuse to return to CDMX!! This was our best meal, and we went to many vegan places during our visit. We had an empanada (next time we each get our own, no sharing!), an order of sopecitos (the cutest and tastiest tacitos!), and papas gajo (so tasty and crispy). For dessert we had the brownie a la mode, which was the perfect cap to our meal. I would do it all over again, but I also want to try their pizza because it looked and smelled so good.

I ordered delivery and it was so good. The pizza capresse was amazing — the chimichurri, the basil, the tomatoes were so flavourful. I also loved the empanadas. So nice to be able to try some vegan Mexican food.

Best vegan pizza in CDMX - Edit
Without a doubt the best vegan pizza in the city. Quality ingredients, very thin cracker crust (other vegan pizza here is mostly dough). Empanadas are excellent, as are the sopecitos and sincronizadas. There are cheaper places, but I feel like the value is good for the quality and attention.

Don’t sleep on this little gem - Edit
I haven’t had a fried empanada this good in over 15 years. We just stopped by to grab a quick snack while on a longer walk, but then ended up grabbing a beer and sitting while waiting for our food. The chef eventually came out and also then offered us a free sample of their homemade vegan ice cream (w/ dulce de leche), which was just a good if not better than the empanadas we had. Living in the United States, I have probably tried every plant-based ice cream, and somehow this little shop makes a better product than all of them combined. The chef is also a big animal person. We’re looking forward to returning a couple times during our visit in CDMX.
