So much more than words can transmit - Edit
One of the ultimate stand out vegan places I’ve ever been to in my life. The three of us had their famous £22 Sunday Roast extravaganza each selecting a different meat (roast chicken, lamb and turkey). You are also provided with a Yorkshire Pudding then it’s self-service vegetables and all the usual trimmings such as sauces, stuffing and lashings of gravy. I had a bit of everything, piled my plate high then proceeded to devour the whole feast with a pint of their delicious Posh Lager overlooking Petticoat Lane Market. Not a bad way to spend an early Sunday afternoon before hitting The Oval for some T20 cricket action.

The Future is Vegan - Edit
So thrilled to finally get to dine here! I’ve been wanting to since it opened. I had the glazed florets, Caesar salad, and oat milk latte. Really delicious. But what I love most of all is the message Ed spreads throughout the world. For the sake of our collective health and climate change, if there is to be a future, it must be vegan.

Fabulous vegan junk food - Edit
I was so stunned by the menu and just wanted to order everything. In fact I don’t think it mattered because everything would have been delicious! The staff was super nice and I was actually shocked because “Earthling” Ed actually stood behind the bar (fangirl moment)

New menu is poor - Edit
They pulled a switcheroo, some good options gone and all the hotdogs are now ‘moving mountains’ (do your research into them). Upset as I really enjoyed eating here.

Amazing gluten free and vegan options - Edit
I actually found these guys through Shnack.co as I needed to find a gluten free restaurant. I'm occasional Vegan too so I was in the best of both worlds when I came here!! The food is absolutely delicious, the menu is clearly labeled and most importantly I found the staff to be super friendly.

Good but needs to improve a lot - Edit
Staff: slow to take orders even if not extremely busy. Friendly and welcoming though.
Read moreMenu: different options available for starters, mains and desserts but needs to be more detailed. We were constantly wondering what was actually in the food we were having. The burgers seemed a bit pricey for what they are since many vegan restaurants in London and non-vegan ones serve the same! Also, needs more « actual » food with whole ingredients instead of just focusing on mock meats. Lastly, restaurant closes early on weekdays (10pm) so we were not able to order dessert at 9.45pm.
Food taste:
• Tempura « shrimp »: tasted amazing and like the real thing. Just wondered what it was made of - the menu does not detail everything!
• Supreme dog: the « sausage » itself was almost like a meaty one, quite tasty but the Bakon was too rubbery. The Mac and Cheeze on top was absolutely delicious. Would have taken it as a side on its own. Sadly, the supreme dog needed more mayo or condiments because it was too dry.
• Chickken Caesar salad with added Bakon: was not amazing. The chikken could have been less dry and there were only few, tiny bits of Bakon.
Vibe: extremely noisy place. Difficult to keep a conversation. There was a strong smell of frying... not surprising because 3/4 menu consists of fried foods but it was just too much!
Price: too pricey for what it is. Other vegan places in London way tastier and cheaper. We are aware that profits go to charity but it felt like too much (we are both students).
Tempura Shrimp (6.50) + Salad with Bakon (11) + Supreme Dog (13) + Kombucha (3) + Service Charge (12.5%) = about £38 for two people...
Pros: Friendly staff, Close to meat products
Cons: Noisy, Not very good value , Not enough fresh, whole foods

Great Place, nice people and the best mission. - Edit
My „dirty loaded fries“ were super delicious. there was lots of stuff on the menu i wasn‘t able to try though i would have loved to. People were really nice and i love that the proceeds go to sanctuaries and the vegan cause. Would go again. Do recommend!

Too expensive - Edit
The food is super expensive. Everything is fried and my friend and I felt really heavy and gross after eating here and left the restaurant stinking of fat. They are not accommodating to allergies. I wish there was more verity on the menu to. It feels like every other vegan burger place in London but more heavy and fatty. This restaurant feels like they are trying to appeal to meat eaters regather than people who have been vegan for while.

Best vegan restaurant I've tried! - Edit
Amazing little vegan diner in the heart of London. We had the full English breakfast and the moving mountains burger, both were worth the money and my omnivore friend said the hot dog was the best he'd ever tried. Tasted like a bratwurst. I've been to a lot of vegan places and this one is hands down the best I've ever tried!

Really Great Food! - Edit
Small but light space with a menu that ranges from burgers and dogs to all day breakfast and really amazing desserts. We wanted one of everything! Tried the burger, fries, chikn ceasar and mac and cheese. Wish they were a little lighter with the scallions [they're on everything!], but really good food.

Amazing brunch - Edit
Came here for a Saturday morning brunch, and I ordered the chicken & waffles. It was a big portion, good for the price. The waffles were perfectly fluffy, and the seitan chicken was crunchy and juicy in comparison. Drizzled with maple syrup, it was a wonderful meal. The coffee was average but the food more than made up for it. Very friendly staff too. Will definitely come back here for dinner.

Indulge and help animals in the same time - Edit
The great thing about Unity, (apart from the fact that profits go to vegan causes) is that you find most of your classic favourite foods in a vegan version. Even fish and chips or prawns! There are also healthy options.
Read moreI had the Surge burger, whose patty is made in house. I also tried the cheesecake which was delicious and beautifully served.
The first time I visited Unity was right when they opened and it did not leave a good impression on me. I am glad that I returned and that I could experience what my friends have been telling me for a while, that Unity has become one of the best vegan restaurants in London.
Pros: Inspiring, nice interior, Profits go to vegan causes, Beautiful food presentation

Average Vegan Food - Edit
The food here is nice enough but nothing I would rush out to have again. The prawn starter was the highlight of the meal. The service was friendly when we could get their attention but overall they were not very attentive.
