One of the best cafes in melbourne - Edit
Had the roasted chicken and feta jaffle, and it was incredible. The Mexican bean one is good too. My fav is the Mac n cheese jaffle.

The tastiest toastie I’ve ever had. On my first visit I had the spicy vegan beef toastie, with chipotle salsa, jalapeños and cheese. So good 😋 I will be back many times. And have been back many times now. Recently had the special Tofu Chilli Scramble, it was amazing 😋

I had the cheeseburger toastie minus the pickle. I never realised a toastie could taste so good. The actual shop is quite small so it was cramped waiting for the food as they are popular which is always nice to see in a vegan establishment.

On a five night trip, we first visited Union Kiosk on our penultimate day, thinking that it would have to be a takeaway, only to find they had plenty of seating - despite clearly being very popular with the takeaway crowd!
Read moreWe loved our cheese, tomato and ham jaffle so much, that we resolved to come back the next day at 8am, so we could try the pepperoni mac jaffle, before heading to the airport. We were not disappointed - wish we had visited earlier!
They also do great pastries, cakes and coffee - their almond croissant was really good and the carrot cake is excellent. Don’t miss out - pay them a visit (or two).

We had the mushroom spinach and mozzarella and the chick*n spinach and roast veg jaffles. Hot chocolate and coffee. Both jaffles were delicious - could taste the fresh basil and fresh thyme. Both drinks requested extra hot, and both came good and hot. My favourite Melbourne spot.

Read moreI ordered the roast veg chicken, spinach and yay feta cheese (I forgot to take a picture as I was extremely hungry). It was great. The outside was perfectly crispy and coated in just the right amount of whatever they use to make the bread crispy. The filling was exactly what I felt like. Each bite was more and more delicious. The menu is overwhelming with choices. I think I would like to return to select about 3-4 other options to try them. There definitely were some interesting combinations in the menu, something for everyone.

I want to try them all, the 3 or 4 toasties I’ve had so far have been tied as the best toastie I’ve had, makes it hard to decide which next so I guess I have to try them all! The oat- and soy-based coffees are so creamy and tasty too it’s like they have been designed to taste great with each of the milks. Every other cafe should take note: the bar is set.

Read moreAlso, when I was in recently, a homeless man entered the cafe asking for a coffee. He was addressed by name by 2 staff, I assume a well-known local, who made him a coffee to go. Seems that the ethos and nature of this cafe and staff is very loving and giving.

The BEST vegan cafe in the CBD - Edit
Love this place so much!! Come here regularly and it's always great. Good coffee and delicious toasties. My go to is the tofu scramble, but you can't go wrong with whatever you choose. A must visit!

Absolutely loved this place. Simple, but amazing. Went here three times during our short time in Melbourne. So many different creations to try, but honestly the classic Vegemite, avocado, cheese was probably my favorite.
