We had the vegan platter which included two types of vegan dumplings, both of which were delicious. Even so, I found 8 dumplings to be quite a small portion for a main course, especially at a price point of almost 16 pounds. The staff was very attentive though, so overall a nice place.

Having been meaning to try Ugly Dumpling for ages, I finally made it. The location is handy for shoppers and has plenty of indoor and outdoor seating-but book for busy times! There’s a decent amount of vegan options; 3 dumplings plus a few sides and a platter and a good drinks menu too. Service let this place down, the staff seemed super busy and food was slow. It’s also fairly pricey, not surprising for the area but worth noting. I spent £33 on dinner for one plus a cocktail.

Wasn’t the best dumpling i’ve ever had but still good. With the meal deal price it’s reasonably priced. The staff was sometimes lacking a bit in attention, a lot of customers had to wait a while to be seated.

Great to find a vegan option near Chinatown (we really struggled!). It’s a cute place, with friendly servers and a few interesting vegan options. I had the vegan platter and ugly noodles, which were both very tasty, but it seemed like a lot of money for not that much food! Note: there is a vegan option on the dessert menu now

Honestly the vegan options here are hit and miss, sure there is always an option but some of the flavour combinations miss the mark. A while back they had celeriac dumplings which just didn’t hit the spot...

Vegan options are less varied or interesting than non-vegan and you don't get much for your money, and is not amazing enough to think that's ok. Nice space and friendly staff though. We spent over £30 for not very much food at not a high enough standard to make up for that.
