Nice interior - Edit
I visited this place in August 2018. I had a bowl, which was okay and a piece of nougat pie, which really wasn't okay. It tasted salty and melted away. Otherwise the place was cosy and nicely decorated.

Not a great place to eat - Edit
I am very surprised by the high ratings this place has got. Perhaps the tea is great but the food is not much to write home about. I arrived just after the opening time at 11.00 but learned that no food is served before 12.00. I waited the full hour in this very small and cramped "restaurant"
Read moreAt 12.00 I learned that there is only one dish available which is basically a bowl with some tofu and vegetables mixed together. I had the large bowl which cost 13 Euros. The large bowl turned out to be very small and I left hungry and dissatisfied.
I understand the simplicity of having only one dish available as you can feed a lot of customers while only needing one cook. However, when this is the case the price for the food is usually much lower. 13 Euros for such a small amount of food is quite ridiculous.
Cons: Only one dish to select from, Small portion sizes, Expensive

Nice place to people watch - Edit
Altough you would expect a teahouse to be very calme, this one is quite a busy place (at least on a Saturday ). We came for cake and I was not disappointed in it. Only thing is, they only serve tea, but no coffee with it. Might be good to know before you get there

Delicious bowls, great range of cakes - Edit
There was just one option for lunch (a bowl that you could choose small or large) but it was delicious and full of lots of different freshly prepared ingredients. We then couldn't resist picking from their enormous range of cakes; the 2 we tried were both as yummy as they looked. The range of drinks was also great - a must visit for tea lovers but also some interesting fresh cold drinks.

new favourite vegan café in Munich - Edit
I can't believe I've been to so many vegan cafes and restaurants in Munich but have only just discovered this amazing small but extraordinary café! With very item being organic and vegan the choice was pretty hard (just my excuse for saying I'll definitely come back) but we settled for the daily bowl and 2 cakes as well as a chai latte. Everything was absolutely delicious, the cakes really tasty (what a nice carrot ginger cake that was!) And the atmosphere just super cozy and inviting to stay there a little longer. If you are in Munich ...definitely a must go!

10/10 everything - Edit
This place is a true vegan gem. It's small but very cozy. They have different teas and teapots displayed on the walls inside. The atmosphere is great and comfy.
Read moreAs for the food; I cannot recommend the cakes enough! We got the hazelnut/almond and the chocolate/avocado cake. Both were incredibly creamy and fresh tasting. I wish I lived next to this place (but then I'd have to have cake for breakfast every day haha). The matcha latte was also delicious!
There's a daily changing lunch menu, a buddha bowl with all kinds of different things. Even the small portion is quite filling. Oh and did I mention they serve over 100 teas and everything is organic? This is possibly my favorite vegan place in Munich.
Pros: Great teas, Cakes to die for, Very comfortable atmosphere

Lovely place! - Edit
If you want vegan cake, this is the place to go! 9 types when I visited, and they're fresh every day. I had the apple crumble cake which was one of the best cakes I've ever had, still slightly warm from the oven. Lovely soya milk masala chai too, although they specialise in a massive range of teas. Friendly staff, lovely space, a few outdoor seats.

best Buddha bowl ever!! - Edit
Lovely place with lots of teas and vegan cakes. Also amazing refreshing home made lemonades. Had the lunchtime bowl which was rice, tofu, veggies and it was amazing - best I've ever had. Also has ginger lemonade which was made fresh in the blender and full of real ginger. Very filling also! Highly recommend.

Popular, with good reason - Edit
As the other reviewers state, booking is definitely recommended here: it was packed when we visited, and it's not hard to see why. They have 2 breakfast items every day, plus a kind of Buddha bowl for lunch, with two size options (€9 or €13, I think). The bowl we had was a great mix of rice, deliciously-seasoned tofu, salad and other veg. It was really flavoursome. There's also a very impressive selection of cakes, about 9 different ones when we visited. The black and white cake was beautiful!

Tushita Teehaus is a GEM! - Edit
Tushita Teehaus is a gem. After a cold cold 1 degree C walk to arrive at Tushita Teehaus, at exactly lunchtime and I was worried about not having a reservation. The teehaus was very full and it was such a warm welcome into their tea-cups-and-pots-décor from floor to ceiling, when I opened their door. They managed to find me a cozy seat nonetheless (I would still recommend calling for a reservation.) Do not miss the cakes display near the front register. Everything looked so beautiful and rich, I was in a bit of disbelief that everything was vegan. I had a pineapple lemonade, a hot chai latte, their lunch bowl (they have one choice, set menu dish, per day—my bowl contained tofu, cashews, rice, green salad with tahini dressing another red bell pepper salad, some kale and more—it was warm, well balanced, delicious and filling). I took some carrot cake and apple crisp to go. “Where is the menu?” The special of the day was on a chalkboard in the front, and at my seat they gave me two menus; cold drinks and their tea menu, which is literally a book containing caffeinated, and non-caffeinated botanicals…amazing selection (mostly in German but you can ask or phone-translate). I would return to this place anytime.
Read moreJust overall a lovely vegan experience—invite a friend and experience it. I returned to Tushita three times..it's that good.
Pros: Delicious food, Cozy and warm, Incredible Desserts
Cons: Soy. If you're a soy-phobe, let them know to omit

Cozy tea house, excellent (green) tea selection and vegan cakes. They offer a lunch dish, which is usually really tasty. Staff is very competent, if you need advice on the different sorts of green teas and other types of tea.

Lovely Lunch - Edit
We came here for lunch on our first (rainy) day in Munich, and it was just lovely. The staff were extremely helpful, speaking great English and offering to help us with the menu. They had one dish of the day, which was a delicious basmati rice bowl with cauliflower, tofu, asparagus, olives, tomatoes. We had the small portion, at 9 euro each, which was really filling. I also had a green tea & soy milk iced latte, very refreshing. Lovely atmosphere, very relaxing, but quite small.
