Very cool place, great food! - Edit
Loved this place. It’s small and filled up quickly so I recommend coming early. The bbq bowl with kimchi was great, and the lemon cake was super tasty as well. Would definitely recommend!!

Bibimbap next level deliciousness - Edit
Excellent food, so fresh and tasty! I love the philosophy / kaupapa that drives this vegan restaurant - to look after society, environment and animals 🧡 Diners can also order how much rice is served with their meal to minimise waste! Definitely worth visiting! 💯

Most delicious Bibimbap I ever ate - Edit
The food was very delicious and healthy. I especially liked the two restaurant owners. They make the place feel like home. I ate bibimbap with extra kimchi and drank a hojicha latte with soy milk. Can fully recommend ❤️ happy to had such a great experience!

Cozy restaurant with a great ethos and equally great food. We came in right when they opened and ordered the bibimbap bowl, BBQ Korean bowl, the rainbow kimbap and the lemon cake. Everything was so fresh and delicious. The owners were very kind and welcoming. Highly recommend stopping in.

What a lovely place and owners!
Read moreLoved the interior with so many plants. 🌱
The BBQ bowl was very delicious!
And I found my favourite chai latte in Kyoto here! Made only with spices and not too sweet! And the hazelnut tart reminded me of a favourite childhood treat from Germany, toffifee! 🧡
They offer bulk shopping and many other eco-friendly products.

A special place - Edit
I loved this place. The food is really good, and given that you have the possibility to choose the size of the plate, it's possible -and recommended!- to order an extra to try more of the menù. The cakes are really wonderful, too.

Wonderful - Edit
Food was beautifully presented, super fresh and flavours were good too. The venue itself is quite small, seating only about 8-10 people, and opening hours are quite interesting.

Awesome vegan restaurant - Edit
A very cozy small restaurant with friendly staff and delicious food. I ordered the BBQ bowl which costed 1380¥. I would definitely recommend visiting this place!
Read moreAs some people already mentioned, the place is quite popular yet very small. A small queue will form outside the restaurant and it takes a little while for them to prepare food for everyone. I arrived shortly after the opening time and got a seat without queueing, but a small line of people had formed on the entrance by the time I left. So not the best place if you're dying of hunger on the spot.😄
Pros: Friendly staff, Cozy restaurant, Cheap
Cons: Popular with possibly long waiting times

Great small place - Edit
Great food, with it being smaller the menu matched. However, the dishes looked great and the bbq bowl of mock meat and rice I had was delicious. I also had a made in house fermented fruit soda drink, was great, and finished off with a soya chai. Staff were very friendly would definitely come back.

Also after all the plastic from the seven elevens and quick meals on the go it’s so refreshing that there are places that have at heart to try to go a better route❤️ Loved to be there and I hope there will be more places like that!

Unique, thoughtful slow food - Edit
Only two people are here running the business, and they have a sign at the front asking for patience and understanding. If you need fast food, this isn’t the place. Instead, come here when you have time to unwind and have a nice conversation or something to read.
Read moreOur food and drinks were wonderful and obviously crafted with care and love. There’s attention to detail in every nook and cranny in the space, and it certainly makes an impression. For those who dream of a future with less waste, where a couple can still have a dream and make it work, this is one restaurant you really shouldn’t miss.

Finding an all vegan korean inspired restaurant in the heart of Kyoto made all my dreams come true! We stopped here on our way back from walking around Kiyomizu-dera and Gion District. We managed to get a seat right away as we were just before the usual dinner rush. I was blown away by the kbbq rice bowl. Will be back when I come back to Kyoto!

A lovely little place - hardly any seating so need to wait but it’s no problem. Food was amazing and they also had vegan snack bars and ready made curries which we bought so that we would have some good microwaveable vegan meals to take with us to the rural places in Japan where there aren’t many vegan options!
