An old-fashioned candy shop mixed with modern offerings. Many of the candies are vegan, especially the ones from the earliest part of human historical candy making that have evaporated cane juice and some organic ingredients. Also has botanical teas, dried fruits, roasted nuts, some nut & fruit blends and more. Open Mon-Sun 10:30am-5:30pm.

Stuffed Dates!

This place is so cool! You get a history lesson plus delicious vegan sweets. What’s not to love? Maryanne was so welcoming, knowledgeable, and personable! I bought stuffed dates on Saturday and had to go back on Sunday for a second box! My Middle Eastern boyfriend was also impressed and he’s eaten his fair share of date desserts. Highly recommend!

Vegan sweet treats

Downtown Harper’s Ferry is super cute, but, maybe you don’t know if there’s anything vegan for your sweet tooth so you’re not going. Well, now you can go get some candy and botanical blends and things.

They have treats organized from the earliest part of human history that they have researched, through to more modern candies in the twentieth century. It’s super fun to check out!

If you’re like me, you won’t be surprised to find a lot of options are front loaded in the earlier part of human treat making for vegans. They have the fruit and nut mixes, some candies that are based on natural flavors- some are so different I couldn’t remember them if I tried!

They have things like cacao nibs, herbal and floral teas, amber beet sugar, pure licorice root, herbal and fruit ‘stained glass’, candied and roasted nuts, candied fruit and flowers, maple candy, lemon drips, candied drops of all kinds and flavors, and some more modern treats like Mary Janes and Jolly Ranchers.

Yum! Just fun and lots to explore!

Staff are incredibly knowledgeable!

Pros: Vegan sweets- old fashioned and modern

Cons: Chocolates are not vegan
