Great atmosphere and food - Edit
I had the pleasure of visiting True Food Kitchen based on a strong recommendation, and I must say, it exceeded my expectations. The restaurant's ambiance is perfect for various occasions, whether it's a romantic date or a casual lunch with friends. True Food Kitchen impressively caters to both vegan and non-vegan diners, offering a wide range of appetizers, entrees, and desserts.
Read moreI opted for the double vegan cheeseburger, and it was a delightful surprise! Notably, they don't rely on "beyond meat" or "impossible meats" for their patties, yet the burger was incredibly delicious.
The drink selection also deserves praise for its quality. Overall, True Food Kitchen is a must-visit spot for a memorable dining experience.

Always delicious - Edit
Ice been eating here for years and the food is always great. I’m surprised they don’t offer more vegan options but the ones they have are good. Their plant based burger is amazing — all kinds (I’ve had a beet root based burger, a Beyond Beef(?) They had a seasonal Jackfruit fruit appetizer that was unreal! It tasted like a Mexican style pulled pork but it wasn’t it. Their guacamole is always good. My only real criticism is breakfast. Their vegan options are lame

I’ve been here twice now and really enjoyed both experiences. The options are great for vegans, veg, non-vegan, and Gluten free- all are clearly marked on the menu.

I went with my fam who are not vegan and they enjoyed their food just as much as I enjoyed mine.
We shared the edamame guard and I had the Korean noodle bowl with tofu (it is a bit spicy)
Pros: Vegan options very clearly marked , Variety of food

This is a great spot for a more health conscious meal. The restaurant doesn't use microwaves or fryers. everything is made fresh to order. I had the Korean noodle bowl and the butternut squash pizza both were amazing.

Fresh and tasty - Edit
I thought this place was quite good. It has a really nice ambiance and the menu has a number of vegan items, all labeled on the menu. The food was a tad salty, but good overall. I had the matcha horchata, kale guacamole, and tempeh sandwich. It is a busy, crowded place, but the staff are very helpful.

Clean, Delicious Food - Edit
True Food Kitchen creates dishes that really embrace and celebrate seasonal vegetables. I try to eat clean, whole food meals, and they excel at making those here. Their food is fresh, clean, and healthy in addition to being delicious. I love their seasonal pizza offerings with vegan almond ricotta—so good! They also offer a wide variety of healthy and delicious beverages. Vegan and vegetarian options are clearly marked on the menu. This is my favorite veg-friendly restaurant in Phoenix.

Great ambiance & vegetarian/vegan options - Edit
Very nice restaurant that is special - there is no wall separating diners from the kitchen so you can view the food preparers & the food itself as it is being prepared. There are also a variety of seating options - inside, outside, small tables, long tables, by the far. My wife & I had the Kale & Avocado Dip, Onion Tart, Steak Tacos (minus meat), Apple Goji Crisp, Hangover RX, Cold Matcha Horchat, Sparkling Tea & Jasmine Pearl. Unique food items. Good variety of vegetarian & vegan items. Good service.

Yummy Vegan Options - Edit
After shopping in the Quarter, I wanted something light to eat so I decided to finally give TFK a try.
Read moreIt was barely noon on a Saturday, but the inside was already packed and people were waiting to be seated. The hostess said I could wait for inside seating or I could be seated immediately on their heated patio. But it was cold outside. Heater or not, I moved away from a cold region so I would've have to endure the cold. * enter tummy-bursting wolf growl*... Ok, I'll take the patio.
It was a nice, large wrap around patio; partially enclosed with covering, but the outside air creeped in through the openings. However, the overhead heaters were quite powerful and efficient, even for me.
Their menu items are labeled as vegan or vegetarian, and the symbols are different for each (thank you!).
ANDY'S TLT (vegan):
Think BLT with tempeh taking bacon's place, and of course I omitted the tomatoes.
$10, but it ended up being worth it. A nice sized sandwich, cut in half, served with plenty of what looked like butter lettuce, Vegenaise, tempeh bacon, and avocado, on toasted bread. And let me tell you, they were not skimpy on the tempeh or the avocado. I was very pleased with the portions. It was delicious. Everything was very fresh (no brown or day old avocado here!) and the tempeh was perfectly cooked and seasoned. I've tried and tried, and cannot get my home-cooked tempeh to turn out like that. Also, it came with a yummy kale salad.
I only ate half of my meal. Partially because I was almost full, but honestly? I wanted dessert! I inquired about their vegan dessert options. I had read reviews which mentioned a seasonal vegan cobbler and I was really hoping to try that. The waiter asked the chef and unfortunately, no vegan cobbler for me that day. They offered a Chia Pudding or some other banana flavored dessert. Not a big fan of the nana, so I inquired about their vegan ice cream. The waiter offered sorbet. I wasn't impressed... Until he said "maple." Maple sorbet? Let's give it a go.
MAPLE SORBET (vegan):
$2.50 per scoop. It was amazing! Creamy, delicious, maple-infused sorbet, which tasted like ice cream more than a sorbet. The only thing that would've made it better if it had been served on top of a vegan cobbler.
Good food and service. Nice restaurant and atmosphere. I'd like to return to try more vegan food items, and... vegan cobbler?
Pros: fresh, tasty vegan options, friendly, helpful, attentive staff
Cons: needs more vegan options, all around

Fabulous - Edit
This is one of the best veg-friendly restaurants I've eaten at. There are a significant range of options, noodle-based, rice-based, pizzas, seafood dishes -- and all with very delicately-seasoned vegetables cooked al dente. Dr. Andrew Weil's creation, the restaurant deserves star-status. Good value, too.
