Punk wibes and comfy Food ! Burgers were great and tasty, beer also. The Nuggets Are Not That Good (really spongy and weird taste) and Are served with à sweet sauce which is really weird.

THE place for vegan indulgence - Edit
Trash chic is not a posh restaurant, but an authentic German Eckkneipe and on top of that visibly liberal and left-oriented, which I love. They serve locally brewed beers and interesting sodas and all kinds of veganized fast food dishes. Our waiters were very polite and nice and let us order a combination of chili cheese and manioc fries, which was not the healthiest dish, but definetely very delicious and enjoyable. On recommendation of staff we also had the gyros and fries plate and the gyros wrap. We both ended up carying our left-overs home in a paper box, after all, the gyros was just too good to be wasted. The prices for these amounts are definitely reasonable. Would love to come back here and try out all the other veganized dishes!

This place is the best at 10pm after few drinks. Fried anything (especially lovely schnitzel) with a hardcore vibe, french fries with melted cheese and sweet sour sauce on top.

Best soul food within a million miles - Edit
If you crave comfort food, a comfy atmosphere, nice service and a relaxed and alternative surrounding, look no further and do not skip this place. The dish sizes are enormous, the taste is grease for the soul and the prices are great.

Haben bisher nirgends so gutes veganes Gyros gegessen! Klar, ist natürlich nicht super gesund die Geschichte, aber trotzdem (oder gerade deswegen?) richtig gut. Portionen waren ordentlich und die Bedienung sehr nett. Mag von außen nicht mega einladend wirken, aber von innen ist der Laden umso cooler. Wird das nächste Mal in Köln nochmal angesteuert!

Not exactly fine cuisine, but oh boy the food served here is awesome! Burgers, gyros, meatballs, schnitzels, fries with vegan mayonaise... All the good, greasy stuff at reasonable prices, a good selection of beer, and everything vegan and so so tasty. Also a nice place just to hang-out and have a few drinks. But who would want to miss out on the gluttony?! The world needs more places like this.

Great Schnitzel - try it - Edit
This cozy, old fashioned Kneipe is really nice. I had the Schnitzel with Rahmsosse and some Bratkartoffeln and everything was awesome. Can highly recommend it!

I went to Trash Chic four times now and I really enjoy the vibe there.. good music playing in a ruth looking space, enjoying the funny stickers and getting some food.

I know it's very simple.. but I really enjoy the Vorspeisenteller!!
The Gyros and Rahmschnitzel were very good, too, but the fries that come with it are not so good (also not a fan of the Tomatenreis). The burger was good, but also not very special.
In general it's a very cool place though and the portions are huge. After sharing the Vorspeisenteller with two more friends I was already way too full to eat all of my main dish.
It's one of the restaurants in Cologne I'd recommend to my friends.

Punk Rock - Edit
Loved the looks of this place, very alternative, punk rock touch. You just sit together with strangers and having a beer together. Great athmosphere and very refreshing. Food is fastfood style, so basic and simple but in no means boring. We loved to get us some burgers, french fries and chili cheese fries after a long day in the city. Next time we’ll definitely come back here.

The Trash Chic is a really cool alternative bar but beside all kind of beverages they also serve springrolls, salat, Chili Cheese fries!, wraps, ice cream and of course burger. I was really happy to see that roughly 90% of the menu is vegan. The staff was very friendly, and we did not have to wait long after ordering. Both the Trash Chic & the BBQ-Burger were very tasty just like the Chili "Cheese" fries (although the chili was more a sweet chili sauce).

Trash Chic is a nice alternative Pub, the meals are huge and the price is quite low. If you like Punkrock, Beer and typical Pub food Trash Chic is your best adress in Cologne.
