Amazing Options and High Quality

Went here a while ago and was thrilled to see it was all vegan. Ordered a few different things and everything here was incredible. The pastries were all very fresh and everything had a nice balance of sweetness without it being too overbearing. There were tons of delicious, authentic options here, with their tres leches cake being standout, and the concha being just as good as I had hoped. The pecan pie tart (which was actually very thick and too large for me to eat in one sitting) was also incredible and certainly looked just as good as it tasted. However, one of my favorite things here was the guava danish, which had just the right amount of acidity and a perfectly flaky crust to it. This place is definitely worth going to regardless of where you are in L.A. and I hope I get another chance in the future to come back here.

Pros: Amazing quality, Plenty of options, Very nice staff

Cons: Parking was somewhat difficult

Wide variety

Got three things. They taste fresh. And it wasn’t too expensive. I have heard great things about them and finally got to get out here to get them and I’m so glad I did.

Pros: Options, Gluten free options, Reasonable price

one of the best (and most fairly priced) vegan bakeries in LA

They have a wide selection--including a robust and clearly labeled 'gluten-free' section. some personal favorites include their tamales, conchas, and pineapple upside-down cake.

So good!

This place is great. A great selection of different cakes, cookies, pies, and other pastries. Everything is vegan and delicious. I can’t remember the last time I actually had an eclair. I got a mini pineapple upside down cake, and a couple of Claire’s and they never made it out of the parking lot.😄

Small but well stocked

First time going and they were loaded with options! All vegan and ranging from nut free to gluten free too 🥳🎉 some options are better than others but happy I'm able to choose :D

Updated: ordered a strawberry shortcake bday cake and it was good! 🍓🍰 Soft, moist and kind of had a tres leches feel to it.

OMG! My dreams come true 🙂

This was on my list while in LA and only got here on my last day. My body thanked me for this as I probably would have been here every day! A fully vegan bakery with so much choice and the prices were so good!!
I bought an empanada for the plane and a cookie. Then an amazing strawberry tart that tasted oh so good! And a box of mini cookies for when I got home and it came to $19. Will be on my list to try more if I’m back in LA!!

Pros: Choice, Price, Strawberry tart

Impressive selection

How nice is it to be able to look at a bakery case and select any item you want because it’s all vegan? Such a rare occurrence for us. I love coming here before a birthday party to grab a vegan treat to bring. They also have bulk containers of cookie varieties that are perfect for a party offering.

I love that they also have vegan tamales you can buy. We’ve been coming here almost weekly for a treat. I was warned that some of the baked items are drier than we’re used to in the US, but everything still tastes amazing to me.

Great

-Challah bread - great 9/10, could be a little more moist
-apricot Danish - good 7/10, could have used more custard and a sugar glaze on the dough part
-Tres leches cake - great 9/10
-banana custard tart - very good 8/10 but a little heavy on the banana
-apple turnover - great 9/10

Even uses sugar not refined with animal bone char!

Amazing pastries

Amazing vegan and gf options. Gf options have an entire separate case. The options are actually overwhelming. And they are SO nice here!! Try everything- you will not be disappointed!

Pros: The selection, Flavors, Gf options

Cons: Wish they had sugar free options

Excellent

I love this place, it’s got a huge variety of fresh baked goods, including separately packaged gluten-free items for those GF folks. Get the tamales, get the cookies, get everything. We love to pop in before a hike or a roadtrip for some snacks to enjoy.

Definitely worth it

My mom is Mexican not vegan and can tell if pastries do not have milk or eggs and is super picky and usually does not like vegan deserts . She absolutely loved this place and said it tastes like regular Mexican pastries and cakes . I Love the conchas , tres leches cake , bolillo with jalapeño and cheese , cookies ect .

Pros: A lot of options , Good food , Customer service

Cons: Small parking structure

Legit bakery

I was in the area and decided to give this spot a taste test. From the looks of it, this bakery looks like a multi generational family owned bakery. They have a commercial sized oven that’s looks legit and the place smells great. Lots of choices to choose from. We had the banana cream pie, tamales and the rugelach. The pastries were not overly sweetened and tasted nice and fresh. The bean and green chili tamale was solid and the masa had great flavor.
I’ll definitely be back to sample some more of the baked goods!

Amazing treats and more!

Everything I have ever had here is delicious. Conchas, cookies, pies and all the treats are amazing. And the tamales and empanadas are amazing too. Everything is always delicious and fresh and reasonably priced. And there is easy parking! Also, don't skip the pre-packaged cookies. They have these amazing flaky ones that are addicting!

Pros: Great selection of treats, Savory and sweet foods, Easy parking
