Tofu Vegan is such a gem! The staff were incredibly kind, accommodating, and helpful with my additional dietary restriction, and the food was *amazing*! The mapo tofu was just the right amount of spicy, and my partner’s gong bao tofu had the perfect balance of sweet, savory, and spicy. He also got the pumpkin lanterns, which were cute and had just enough gentle sweetness to not overpower a delicate flavor. Definitely recommend!

Best vegan food I’ve had in london - Edit
Ordered the spicy wontons and sweet and sour chicken and I was blown away…the wonton sauce was so flavourful and good (not super spicy). The mock chicken was excellent - and I normally don’t love fake chickens.

Incredible Amazing Wonderful Chinese Restaurant - Edit
If I can give any advice it's please go to this restaurant. The staff are incredible and give wonderful recommendations. I'd suggest family style dining and sharing as many dishes as possible! I've tried most of the menu and there's definitely something for everyone (even my non-vegan friends rave about the tofu!).

Finally, the food is phenomenal. One thing I’d suggest is - listen to your servers recommendations, because we are so so glad we did! What she suggested went together perfectly, and it was all amazing.
We were going to have the assorted dim sum but she suggested the wontons, and very glad we had those! I had the fried aubergine in house sauce which was just as good.
You need to visit whether you’re vegan or not!

Previous reviews encouraged us to visit and we concur! We arrived late afternoon and they were not busy. From the moment we walked in they were attentive, friendly and helpful. Charming restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. The host guided us on suggestions(thank goodness, as everything looks good) for our first visit and they were all very good… wontons, mushroom salad and cumin lamm. My husband did note he thought there was a bit too much oil in the sauce of the mushroom salad and the wontons. The spice level was perfect for us, and we like spice.

I had gone here on my last trip to London in 2023 and haven’t stopped wanting to go back. I had the wontons in house special sauce and the twice cooked “fisc” and both were delicious. Perfect spice level on the wontons(I’d say a bit spicier than mild, but perfect for me). The tofu fish was great-I don’t like green bell peppers, but they somehow made me like them! I ate every bit by myself! The staff were very friendly and helpful. Can’t recommend enough!

Walking in, the place is nicely decorated with modern earthy decor. The staff were super friendly, giving us recommendations, checking in on us a lot. I wish I could have tried everything on the menu but we shared a bunch of things. Every dish was phenomenal! It was on the more expensive side but we expected that, as it can be a lot of work to create a lot of these specialty dishes and it is very tasty. Walked away feeling satisfied with everything and had a great welcoming experience. Thank you Tofu Vegan!

I had high expectations as I had read online about tofu vegan. It did not disappoint and I can see why it is so well loved. There is lots of choice and the portions are good, each dish serves at least two people.

Very big menu, and everything we had was delish. To the point where I forgot to take some photos 😅 the best dish (though ALL were amazing) was the mock fish in the buns. So good. We also had some dumplings, soup, rice and stir fried tofu with veg.
