The menu is the same as other venues so the food is tasty, fresh and delicious - guaranteed. The atmosphere isn’t quite as good here as Islington or Spitalfields. It’s more quiet and relaxed.

I go here every time I am in London and even my husband (who is a meat eater and never eats vegan food) loves this place. I get sweet and sour chick’n, salt and pepper tofu, special noodles. 10/10!!!

I was happy to find a Tofu Vegan outside of London city centre, therewith not being overcrowded. I went for lunch on a Sunday and it was quiet. When I tried booking in the city centre locations for the weekend, they were all fully booked. I had a nice experience, staff was very friendly and service good. The food itself was amazing, we had some dim sum, bao buns and a tofu mushroom stir fry. All dishes were fantastic and there was so much more I wish I could try. This restaurant is an amazing place and I can’t wait to be back.

Probably my most visited of all the branches. I usually stick to my fail safe items of gung boa king oyster mushrooms, special fried rice and dumplings but on this occasion also had the stir fried lotus root which was a dream combo. Love their food and wish I could make it here more often.

The staff was incredibly attentive, accommodating, helpful and friendly. I very much enjoyed looking through the entirely vegan menu, but the mock meats and mock fish made me uncomfortable. The food was delicious, some of it very very spicy

My first visit when it opened was great. I enjoyed the food.
Read moreMy most recent visit in oct 2024 was disappointing. The starter was delicious, but the main wasn’t good and the brownie dessert was awful. The jasmine tea was good. So 50% was good. Not good enough for the £40 I paid for my meal.
I will not be back as I can’t not justify spending that much on a meal I am not entirely pleased with.

I love this place. The food is so delicious and the staff are super friendly. The aubergine bai buns are the best but everything’s really very good. Bit pricey but completely fabulous.

I’ve been coming to Tofu Vegan since the Islington branch first opened and it’s always sensational! This time I came for my birthday dinner and again the food was to die for, the service was wonderful and the atmosphere was 10/10 - this was all reflected by the fact the restaurant was buzzing with people on every single table and upstairs and even had a small queue forming at the door! 🌱🌱🌱

Read moreThe dishes are flavorful, but are not as tasty as I had expected based on the outstanding reviews. I would recommend the dumplings with the house sauce. The noodle dish I ordered had a bit of a burned flavor that I did not find very appealing. Service was great .

I have heard so many good things about tofu vegan and had to visit for myself. The food was out of this world, so many options and all so flavoursome. Sometimes its easy for food textures to all to blend in with each other when its all tofu / mushroom based but the variety in texture and flavour was incredible. Such friendly staff as well and they have a great secret function room upstairs with a karaoke room 👀

Really friendly, attentive service, happy to suggest dishes. Amazing range and variety of options, including tofu, faux meats, oyster mushrooms, and vegetables. So lovely that everything is vegan! Great to see a bit of activism in their merch too - my favourite was a tshirt that said "my food is grown not born".
