Simply the best vegan restaurant in London - Edit
I have visited Tofu Vegan maybe 4 times. Three times in this branch, and once at the Spitalfields branch. The food is simply incredible. The staff / service wonderful. Such an amazing and enjoyable experience.

I had such a fantastic experience at Tofu Vegan! The staff was incredibly friendly and took the time to recommend the perfect dishes for us, based on how much spice we could handle and whether we preferred sweet or savory flavors. We went with her suggestions, and wow! everything was absolutely delicious! I can’t wait to go back. Highly recommended!

We started with wontons (not too spicy, as the waiter promised), mushroom dumplings, some fried rice and tofu with black beans sauce. YUM! Then, we tried the rice noodles with tofu. And my husband asked for more wontons, because why not?
Everything we tasted was spectacular. And the waiter was so nice!
Will def come back when I visit London again.

Was excited to try an all vegan Chinese place. The fried rice was very very good but dry so the black bean sauce from the tofu helped. The server was so helpful and nice. He gave me both the black bean sauce and the special house sauce to try. I’m so glad he did because the house sauce was so spicy it made me cough and my eyes water!! I got tofu with black bean sauce and it was okay. I wish it was a different texture on the outside it was too soft.

I've ordered delivery twice, and been disappointed twice. Today's chilli chicken: imagine buying a big bag of dried sliced chillis from a supermarket, and adding half a pack of Fry's vegan chicken bites, but only if you'd got them from Wish. And charging fifteen quid for it - plus more on top for rice. I don't get it. Why do people rate this place so highly? I tried it again and all it did was reminded me just how disappointed I was the first time.

Excellent Chinese Vegan Meal - Edit
When traveling it can be hard for vegans to find protein so going to a restaurant with Tofu in the name was a no-brainer. And the tofu & mushroom dish was delicious. The server Kun was so helpful in making sure, per my request , the dish had little oil and mild spicy flavor.

After having amazing Chinese vegan food in Japan I was hoping London would be great too since China Town is so famous. Food was good but I've had better. I was a bit underwhelmed.
Read moreThe menu is quite extensive. I picked the fried rice and the xiao long bao dumplings. The rice was nothing to write home about and I didn't like the seasoning of the dumplings but that's just my personal preference. The crispy tofu was good.
Perhaps we should have tried some other dishes instead but the prices also made it hard to choose since we didn't want to have an expensive meal. We paid around 45£ for two people, which is not a lot for London but we were still a bit hungry when we left.

Our waitress offered her recommendations and we basically followed what she said. Everything was excellent! We especially likes the fish bao and the wonton dim sum. The customer service was also excellent from all. Highly recommend!

I was excited to visit as I’d heard such good things and it didn’t disappoint! Staff were super friendly and helpful, recommending dishes that would compliment what we had chosen. We had the noodles, wontons, gong bao tofu, fried aubergines and twice cooked fisc, which was outstanding. Excited for my next visit!

I will be craving the spicy wontons forever. Perfect chili oily goodness. All of the noodle dishes were so good and salty and savory, and I was excited to try xiao long bao since it’s hard to find those veganized. We had this twice on our trip and I am wishing we had it even more.

This was easily the best meal on our London trip, and by far the best vegan Chinese food I’ve ever had. I will be thinking about those wontons for years. Staff was very friendly and offered suggestions. All of the dishes we got were excellent, and I am genuinely sad that I do not live close enough to eat here regularly.

I already had high expectations coming here and they were exceeded. I can't imagine anything on this menu wouldn't be out of this world. Really well cooked tofu and mock chicken, perfectly sticky sauces and really really friendly staff. Everyone should come here.

The deep fried aubergine was 10/10. I also got the special fried rice which was a bit bland on its own but a good accompaniment with the aubergine. Will be back to try other dishes!!
