So delicious- they have different menus depending on the time of day - I had the burgers to choose from, each option has a patty made out of different vegetables - very imaginative! Liked the different choices. I went for the squash burger which was really good - fries and mayo were also delicious! Lovely setting, plenty of outdoor seating

Satisfying burgers at Tokmag - Edit
Good food, fast service, and cute ambience. We shared a satay burger and a beetroot burger, plus fries. Food tasted wholesome and fresh, with unique flavor profiles for each. Food came out quickly. Desserts and salads also looked great — hopefully another time.

The whole restaurant is vegan. They have plenty of inside and outside tables to choose for your mood. I would recommend a visit.

I specified in my review that their closure was TEMPORARY. I see it as a reason to give a negative review on HappyCow, because their restaurant was marked open on HappyCow, not as temporarily closed. Fortunately, I can also change the review once I am back in Budapest and eat at theirs; then, my experience of a customer is going to become more relevant. But up until then, my only experience is their being closed while advertised as open. For example, they could be temporarily closed every other day for what I know; then, it would be relevant feedback for other potential customers.

OK Michael. I arrived in Budapest last Sunday the 28th of April and I have been to Tökmag twice since then and everything was as good (near perfect) as ever. As a toothless vegan, Tökmag has always been the place I could count on since I started to go to Budapest for dental work two years ago :-). I find that it is absolutely forgivable when someone has a technical problem that the first thing they think about is NOT necessarily to mention it on Facebook or Happycow. They DID mention it on Facebook though and I guess that anybody can be on Happycow without signing up there by themselves - I'm even quite certain that lots of vegan restaurants don't even know that they are on Happycow... OK Michael, next time you come to Budapest I hope you will go there and I also hope - if it's possible - that you will perhaps delete this thread if you're pleased with everything then ?

The food was really tasty. They have a great menu for breakfasts, lunches, mains and cakes. I had the Hungarian potato dumplings, and my husband had the mushroom burger. We went back later for cakes!

Had a good selection of food, and the sandwich we ate was fine - nothing special. Predominantly burgers, sandwiches, cakes, and juices.

Staff were not friendly, and it seemed I annoyed one of the staff members by asking for a glass or cup for my drink. Would not bother to return unless desperate.
£14/€16 for 2 average sandwiches and a bottle of drink. Felt overpriced for what it is, but I guess it’s quite average.

Wir hatten eine Geburtstagsfeier hier. Es war unglaublich! Als Vorspeise hatten wir Appetizer baskets, als Hauptspeise Sztrapacska und drei Torten als Dessert. We enjoyed this place very much. Loved the burgers and lemonade. And the cake 🍰 😋 The outside chairs are less comfortable but you can sit inside. Keep in mind that they clean the tables with an organic detergent which contains vinegar, you can smell this for a moment.

Burgers tasted delicious and healthy! - Edit
They have multiple different patties to chose from and make them all themselves. The whole meal buns they use were soft and tasty too. We chose the butternut squash patty and the mushroom patty, both were really flavourful. We also ordered the sweet potatoes fries which were crispy and perfectly cooked. This place was busy but also had plenty of seats in their basement as well as outside.
