So so brilliant

The croissants were so perfectly flaky. I have missed proper croissants since being vegan and these were gorgeous. The filled croissant was absolutely delicious and the almond one was the perfect level of sweetness. Great coffee and friendly staff.

Beautiful cafe, decadent choices!

Great little vegan cafe with lots of baked goods. Loved the palmier and banana bread. Tried a matcha latte as well. Great vibes here, will be coming back for their savoury options!

We loved it all

We drove up from Seattle and one of my must stops was to try To Live For Bakery. I have been a long time follower of Erin’s on Instagram and we purchased a number of different sweets to bring home. We were totally blown away by the amazing flavors. Everything we bought was so good and we look forward to visiting again on our next trip to Vancouver.

Pros: All vegan, Really good flavor, So many choices

Delicious pastries & baked goods

To Live For bakery is a haven for all vegans & non-vegans! Their physical bakery is new but they have been a staple for years. Their baked goods are 10/10!!! Worth the travel if you live outside of the area. Their breakfast croissant sandwich is a must!!!

Pros: Fully vegan, Many non dairy milk options & sweeteners, Friendly staff

Cons: Can get busy

Worth the wait!

I was so excited to visit Erin Ireland’s all vegan bakery! Her ‘To Live For’ products have always been amazing and I wasn’t disappointed by the variety and quality of baked goods in the new cafe.

We left with carrot cake, cinnamon bun, chocolate hazelnut mousse cake and breakfast sandwiches. All were delicious, and at what I thought was a reasonable price.

I liked the location and found parking easily nearby (although we made the drive early to beat the weekend line ups)!

Pros: 100% vegan, Quality baked goods and hot drinks, Good location and hours

Must visit when in Vancouver!

Amazing sweets and eats in this all-vegan cafe and bakery! Get the breakfast sandwiches and sausage rolls, and out of this world cinnamon buns! The croissants are done by a French pastry chef, you will cry with joy! Kids table with toys and books so you can bring weegans! The bakery has a large glass sliding window so you can watch the magic ❤️ #Veganuary

Pros: All vegan sweets and eats, Amazing coffees and matcha!, Kids area with toys and books for littles

Loving To Live For

Vancouver is lucky to add To Live For, Erin Ireland’s brand new vegan bakery, to its flourishing veg scene. Patrons are treated to a wide selection of lovingly-made cakes and pastries, all made in-house, with a menu that is constantly evolving.

Every corner of the sit-down section is cosy and welcoming, where you can enjoy a treat and warm drink and people watch to your heart’s content. A must-visit. #Veganuary

Pros: Ever-increasing menu of delicious vegan items, Welcoming atmosphere, Pain au chocolat is perfection

Cons: Not the most accessible location if not driving

Erin Ireland has created a haven of a bakery where there is a variety of sweet and savoury baked goods, pastries and cakes to satisfy everyone, vegan or not. The thoughtfulness into the menu, the space is tangible. This place compassionately demonstrates you can be delicious, have variety and vegan!

Pros: Great variety of food and drink options, Beautiful space, Owners who care

Cons: Not super central

Lives up to the hype!

Went and checked out To Live For this morning and got a beautiful cheddar scone, cinnamon (sticky?) bun & oat latte. Been open a full week as of today and there’s still a line up out the door with folks happily waiting their turn. Will be going back to make sure I can try everything on the menu!

To be noted: the lemon loaf is out of this world 🥹❣️

Edit: round two this weekend, the croissant breakfast sandwich is INCREDIBLE.
