Terrific place! Food, service, ambiance -- all a winner here. Extra shout out to Hilli and Emmanuel for their friendly and very helpful service at the counter.
Read moreYou can watch the bakers prepare the goodies from a little window inside the cafe, which is amusing in itself. Terrific vibes insideh with little kids reading playtime stories, young people using their laptops, and plenty of daylight and space to sit.
By far my favorite thing from ALL the things I ate were the pizza with savory white sauce, double chocolate chip cookie, and pain au chocolate. You cannot go wrong if you order these. Love that everything is vegan!

What a lovely add on to to live fors business- incredible pastries and breakfast sandwiches and great coffee too. Be warned it definitely gets busy on the weekends but the staff are incredibly efficient.

I’d go here every day if I could. The vegan baked goods are to die for (but of course, no animals have to!). Everything I’ve tried has been delicious, not to mention beautiful! You have to try their feature croissant of the month!

This is a really special place that’s been a long time coming, opened by local vegan Instagram celeb Erin Ireland. I love everything I’ve had here, but if I had to pick a favourite I’d say the breakfast sandwich croissants ! My only complaint is that the seating is terrible - so uncomfortable. But still worth a visit!

We've found the perfect plain vegan croissant and sandwich croissants! We had the sandwich with egg, sausage and cheese and one without sausage as well as plain croissants and they were all delicious and reasonably priced!

Huge case full of treats, I’m more of a savoury person myself. I thoroughly enjoyed the Just Egg and cheese breakfast sandwich on a croissant. I bought a few sweet treats that we loved, my favourite of the sweets was a pumpkin loaf that my partner bought a few slices of.

Read moreI started off with the croissant breakfast sandwich was delicious - vegan egg & cheese and they have a house peri peri sauce which really brought it up a level. Also tried a couple different treats - the salted chocolate marshmallow cookie, the coconut lemon loaf and the cheddar onion scone. Topped it off with a pumpkin spice latte! It was all yummy but the sandwich and the cookie were my favs.
The cafe was such a lovely place to spend time in and so much attention to detail. The line was out the door for most of the time I was there. It really seems like a nice community hub! I would love to have this cafe in Montreal. It was very out of way from where I was staying but 100% worth the trek.

Everything I’ve tried here is delicious, I went two days in a row during a recent trip to Vancouver. I don’t normally order banana bread at cafes, but here it is unreal, the best I’ve ever had. I also tried both kinds of breakfast sandwich (croissant and English muffin) and they were great if a little messy. I appreciate that there is hot sauce and ketchup available. The coffee was also delicious. Line up out the door, come early before things sell out! There’s a table for kids with toys so very family friendly. Seating is not super comfortable (log stools with no back), so between that and the kids it’s not the kind of place you would go to get work done or sit for a long time. Still, amazing treats!

To Live For absolutely exceeded all of my expectations! So many options and everything vegan.. this is what heaven must look like. The hardest part of our visit was deciding what we wanted.
Read moreI tried the pain au chocolate (omg the flakey pastry so good), the salted double chocolate cookie, cinnamon bun and Nanaimo bar (tastes just like the non vegan ones I used to have!) We also got to try some of their focaccia which was so fluffy and tasty.
Please do yourself a favour and go!

I felt very seen here as a vegan - this place had a giant, beautiful portrait of cows on the wall, which to me made it clear this cafe is for the love of the animals.

Been following Erin (the owner) online for some time and finally got to visit the cafe. I loved it!! The breakfast croissant was unbelievably good! I was really blown away. Also loved the spanakopita, breakfast cookie and lemon loaf. It is clear that everything is tasty! I’d go there all the time if I lived in Vancouver!
