Cozy boho style with very good vegan food and friendly staff. The burrito with truffel mayo Was SO GOOD😄and the waffle bowl was also delicious. There are only a few table, so maybe in weekend it is hard to get a table without reservation.

Tjorvi's is one of the best cafés I've been to. It's a small store with aesthetic beautiful interior. I ate a waffle bowl (a waffle cut into pieces with some toppings) with bionella (vegan Nutella), chopped and caramelized nuts and strawberries. It was amazing!! My bf had a crêpe "Libelle" with coconut spread and fruits which also tasted really good. If I were a local I would visit more often!!

Еда мне очень нравится. Редко где делают веган блины. Боулы огонь! Я бы ходила туда часто, но… либо сам кофе низкого качество, либо бариста не умеют его делать. Я раньше работала в кофейной сфере и разбираюсь в этом. Кофе был слишком пережарен и горький. Это был ужасный кофе.

Подушки на полу тоже неприятные. Если вы делаете такое вот место для лаунжа - то за ним нужно следить. Потому что когда ешь вкусную еду в неопрятном месте - даже еда становится невкусной (((

Ich war sehr enttäuscht von den Bowls, viel Fertigprodukte (Tortilla Chips, Dosenmais, Dosenbohnen) ohne Geschmack und Raffinesse. Die Waffeln sind in winzig kleinen Schalen mit extrem süßer Soße. Nicht gerade angemessene Preise. Besitzerin ist eher als künstlich freundlich zu bezeichnen.

Very cozy café near Kiel train station with friendly and welcoming stuff. Everything is freshly prepared and tastes excellent. We had a sandwich (Dackel) where every component fitted perfectly. Even though we were already full, we really wanted to try a crêpe. The crêpe tasted delicious with lots of fresh fruit and coconut cream.

Tjorvi's is a cute shop to just enjoy a coffee or even a hot meal. The atmosphere is cozy, the swings are an eye-catcher and the staff is extremely friendly. We had the dachshund (Dackel) and the sparrow (Spatz) as well as the bee (Biene) as a waffle bowl. The wraps were delicious. We've had less than good experiences with vegan sausage alternatives, but the ones at Dachshund were very good. In contrast to the dachshund, the sparrow is not quite as hearty, which I thought was great. The sweetness of the waffle bowl was perfect for our taste. The waffles were very tasty.

Wir hatten den Dackel und den Spatz sowie die Biene als Waffelbowl. Die Wraps waren köstlich. Wir hatten bisher mit veganen Wurstalternativen eher weniger gute Erfahrung, aber die im Dackel waren sehr gut. Der Spatz ist im Gegensatz zum Dackel nicht ganz so deftig, was ich super fand.
Die Waffelbowl war für unseren Geschmack perfekt von der Süße her. Die Waffeln waren sehr lecker gebacken.

Read moreLangfristig wünsche ich dem Café so viel Erfolg, dass ein neuer Standort mit schönerer Aussicht eröffnet werden kann. Aber abgesehen davon wurde der Platz super genutzt und Tjorvi hat es geschafft ein ganz besonderes Ambiente zu schaffen.

Wir haben uns Tjorvis herausgesucht, weil wir mal wieder auswärts frühstücken mit einer Tour durch die Kieler Innenstadt verbinden wollten.
Read moreNach einer freundliche Begrüßung wurde uns direkt das Menü erläutert, leider folgte die große Enttäuschung auf dem Fuß: Frühstück gibt es nur am Wochenende. ( Update des Eintrags ist direkt erfolgt)
Den Hinweis, dies doch direkt auf das Menü zu schreiben, wollte man gerne kurzfristig nachkommen.
Wir hatten dann einen Wrap und eine Waffel, jeweils mit schwarzem Tee, woran es nicht viel auszusetzen gab. Der Wrap hat uns besonders gut gefallen, die Waffel ging leider etwas unter in der Schale, bedeckt mit Früchten und Sauce.
Das Ambiente ist nett, ein paar Schönheitsreparaturen und eine bessere Abluft der Küche könnten Gästen die Empore ( u. a. mit 4 Schaukeln als Sitzgelegenheiten) aber noch schmackhafter machen.
Man kann auch draußen sitzen.
Wir werden versuchen irgendwann noch einmal am Wochenende zu kommen, wenn es dann tatsächlich Frühstück gibt.
