Super friendly owner(?) I wanted to curl up into him! Lol. Amazing food. Expensive as [censored], but it was worth it. The plating, taste, everything - I love it when asian food hit that sweet palate just right. Also it had very little salt in it! And felt fresh, little oil too. I like!

I also loved the very mild sauce that came with the woked veg. Mild, but just right. Just the right amount of sweet… mmm.
The salad spice was just below my limit. The mapo tofu, however… beware. It was super tasty, however it was too spicy for me. I grabbed some bites where I could savour the flavour beneath the HNNGH OUCH lol. My SO finished the rest xD.
We had fried rice too. However, I noted that ”fries meat” taste so they light prepare it on the same frying area as the meat… unsure. I only had two bites of bites cause it bothered me. It might be just ”smoked food” flavour that I associate with meat grilling cause I’ve eaten that before. Just a heads up. i recommend asking if you’re sensitive to that stuff (meat contamination) / if it bothers you a lot.
Anyway, damn, the owner(?) was sooo friendly, like the best greeting / service I’ve had just based on pure genuine friendliness lol. It was awesome. I recommend!
He also mentioned that the noodles contained egg and such and asked about that, if it was ok with us. Seemed super knowledgable in regards to veganism / ingredients. I appreciate that!
I loved the ambience as well. Just the right amount of luxurious. And the toilet was super cozy / nice too XD.
The mapo tofu was served so prettily. Really recommend it if you’re into spice. I have an app with a planet called mapo hell so it was super fun to see the ”real”.. mapo hell, haha.😁but delicious hell💗yum!
I recommend this place! 8/10 experience.

Fantastic vegan Sichuan food - Edit
One of the best Chinese meals I've had in my life. Vegan menu with 5 choices - the Yu Shan eggplant is to die for. Great ambiance and friendly staff too, nice and not too loud.

Good food, a bit expensive though. Which was expected since it's more of a fine dining restaurant. Would've liked some kind of soy meat or so amongst the vegetables.

Several vegan options and all very good! I’ve tried Bok Choy, Mapu Tofu and Bean Sprout Tofu before, the latter which seems to have been taken off the menu but exchanged for a new favourite: a spicy vegan eggplant-dish! The Bok Choy was a bit bland for my taste, but for those of you who like this traditional street dish I’m sure you won’t be disappointed.
Read moreThe rice costs extra and has to be bought separate, and considering the already not-insane-but-not-really-cheap-either-prices it is a bit unfortunate. That being said, their rice is excellent and it does give you the option of upgrading to fried rice for vegetarians who eat eggs.
