ok for fast food Asian

We went here because of all the good reviews on happy cow. I was however quite disappointed with the quality of the food. I wouldn’t particularly recommend this place because it gets very busy and you usually have to wait a while for a table for food that comes quick but isn’t particularly good. Maybe for a takeaway.

Pros: mostly vegan

Cons: rather poor quality food , have to wait for table

Fast, Tasty & Decent Options

Our group of 8 enjoyed our experience. There were plenty of options for everyone. The food came really quick, and most things were tasty. A little oily and some of the staff weren't as friendly as others, but we came back.

Pros: Fast Service, Many Options, Reasonably Priced

Cons: A Little Oily, Some Staff Not Friendly, A Little Wait To Be Seated

Je me suis régalée!

Pros: Prix très corrects, Très bon, Tout est Vegan sauf un plat

Poor reception and mediocre food

The food was not great: either too salty or too fat, low quality and not very tasty.
But the worst was clearly the reception: when we arrived, we were 3 people waiting for another friend, and they did not want to give us a table until our friend arrived (even when we told them that we could order in advance). And no reservation was possible.
Then after we finished our meal they gave us immediately the bill like they were waiting for us to leave.
Also the room is noisy and not comfortable (simple stools instead of chairs).

Pros: Mostly vegan, Cheap

Cons: Poor reception, Poor taste, Noisy and narrow

Cheap Asian fast-food

A small familial place with a wide range of Asian vegan food, mostly vegan versions of meat dishes: service is fast and the check low. It may not be the best culinary experience in Paris (lots of deep-fried seitan dishes), yet it may be hard to find better value for the price!

Pros: Cheap, Fast service, Large choice

Cons: Gets crowded

Sooo good

After travelling through Italy where (vegan) South/East Asian food just didn't seem to exist, this was exactly what I'd been missing.
The grilled dumplings were amazing, highly recommended, esp. with soy sauce. Satay chicken skewers = incredible. Another night I had the lotus bao for dessert- SO good.
I feel like if I lived in Paris, I would be back here a lot.
It's just costly, especially when things are so good and you want to get lots of stuff.

Pros: Great food, Wait staff can speak English, Many vegan options

Cons: Paris prices *sigh*, Can get busy and squishy

Amazing

I'm a Parisian living in the US, and this is the one restaurant I always visit when coming back. They have a very large choice of Asian dishes, all very flavourful. Service is quick and efficient, and it's very cheap. The only down side is that it's often packed, and when you get a table you might have to share it with strangers - which could also be a way to make new friends, who knows :-)

Pros: A large variety of options, Very cheap for Paris, Service is fast and efficient

Cons: The atmosphere can get a bit loud , You might have to share your table with strangers

Cozy lunch

We had a surprisingly cheap lunch in tien hiang. We were warmly welcomed and served tasty food. Portions were smallish but the 3 course lunch menu costed only 11,5 euros.

Good

Good place, mostly good food but the portion are a little small for the price. Also, the place might be loud when it's packed.
You can take away if you want.

Pros: tasty food , chinese food, take away

Cons: loud, pork imitation isn't good, portion are too small for the price

more and more amazing!

I visited Tien Hiang a few years back and did so again a few weeks ago and the change is stunning: the place is now more cosy than it used to be, with more space and more light, and the food is also even more amazing!
The flavors and the fake meats are out of this world, everything is ready within minutes which is perfect if you're in a rush!
I had the pepper "beef": unbelievable! you should definitely try out the cashew chicken as well, and the riz cantonais was definitely one of the best I ever had, vegan or not!
I'll for sure recommend this place and visit it again soon!

I love this place!!!

I have visited Tien Hiang twice now and I have not been disappointed. The food is so delicious and I love how much option there is. It's almost too hard to choose! The staff are friendly. Unfortunately it is a little cramped and busy inside, but I guess that's why you get when you're so popular. It's completely out of the way when I'm visiting Paris, but worth the metro ride.

Pros: Amazing Asian food, reasonably priced, crazy amounts of option

Cons: Can be very busy

Great 99.9% Vegan Asian Food

I've been to Tien Hiang several times in the last couple of years.

The menu is vegan except from one dish (the Tien Hiang marmite), so it makes me wonder why they won't just become 100% vegan?

The menu is extensive, with many Asian dishes full of flavor.
The food is very good; if compared to the other vegetarian Asian restaurants in Paris', I'd say this is my favorite.

The service and atmosphere are good. However, it seems to be a popular place, so I'd suggest to call in advance to book a table.

Pros: tasty, good value

Cons: not all vegan

Super bon !

Quick and Tasty

This was my first time eating at a vegan restaurant in Paris. We came for what I would have considered a late dinner (8.30pm) but the place was packed and we had to wait 15 mins to be seated. I'm a strict vegan and as far as I could tell the entire menu was vegan.... So I'm not sure what makes this restaurant veg instead of vegan.

Staff are friendly and very busy. Meals come fast and taste better then they look. Full of flavor but lack presentation. Too much mock meat and soy for my personal preference but if ur into that and looking for a cheap fast Asian eat this is your spot.

Pros: large menu , friendly staff

excellent! un classique !

I live in Paris for more than 10 years and my wife and I (both vegetarians) go there very often. It's very very good, cheap, and served very quickly. If you can, avoid the rush hours, from 8pm to 9h30 because it's always packed. But it's worth it, you won't regret :-)

Amazing

Fantastic food, the vegan meat is cooked perfectly and the flavours are rich, authentic and delicious. Only minus is its popularity - we had dinner here on a Thursday night and it was packed, but there's a fast enough turnover that you don't have to wait too long.

Best Chinese food

If you look for incredibly tasty fake meat chinese dishes for a very good price, this is your place to go in Paris. Only bummer is the place is tiny and they don't take reservations so it filla up quickly. Possibly they need to improve in the general service as well.

Good lunch spot

They have a good lunch special M-F for 11.50. You get a soup or salad, a main, a side dish of noodles or fried rice, and a dessert so it's good value. Everything is vegan except one dish with egg. They have English menus and the staff are friendly. It's all mock meat but not very greasy like it can be at some places. And they have sriracha on the tables in case you want to spice it up.

Pros: lunch special

Deliciouuuuus !!

I went there with a friend after the advice of a friend that knew that I am vegveg ! :)
I am always surprised to find fake meat in the restaurants... I kind og think that if you want to stop the meat you don't need to find fake meat but it's always an interesting experience and Tien Hiang is very good at it !
Apart from that, everything is very tasty, from first courses to desserts. We shared many little dishes with my friend, from spring rolls to soups or ravioli or fritters or lotus seeds brioches...
The drinks were also really really nice.
The staff was really charming and the place really paceful, even though I guess that when it's crowded it's less quiet... Anyway, the decoration is really sober ! :)

As we took many little things, at the end, it went a bit expensive. But they also serve complete dishes (you know, fake meat ;) ) that don't seem so expensive. And anyway it's super deliciouuuuus !!!

Pros: Tasty food, A lot of choice (homemade? not sure...), Very nice staff
