Wir kommen regelmässig bei einer der Tibits-Restaurants vorbei, es gibt immer etwas leckeres zu essen. Es ist jedesmal ein Überraschung was es alles beim Büffet hat.

An der Theke hat es mehrere Kuchen und belegte Brötchen. Alles auch als Take Away möglich. Mehrwegschüssel können gegen Pfand geliehen wurden.
Trinkwasser kann selber (nach)gefüllt werden. Tipp: grosses Glass an der Theke verlangen.

This is the best vegetarian buffet I have ever been to. Most of it seems to be vegan too. Sure it can get quite expensive but it doesn’t seem much worse than a normal restaurant meal. If I lived in Switzerland I would go here all the time (please come to Austria 👀)

I like tibits a lot, they have a great buffet, lots of vegan options available, but it can get a bit expensive. Usually I want to try everything and that drives the price up quickly, and it hardly ever leaves space for dessert, which shows that its pretty good I guess.

A lot of clearly labled vegan options. As in every tibits some dishes are really delicous, others are just mediocre. With so many different items on your plate, it doesn't matter if one or two turn out to be a bit bland, as others will make up for it.

Always a great experience and delicious food. Everything is clearly written out whether it is vegan or vegetarian. About 4/5 of the sumptuous offerings, a cold as well as hot buffet, are vegan.

Super Buffett für Veganer/Vegetarier - Edit
Tibits bietet ein schönes Buffett an leckeren Veganen und Vegetarischen Speisen. Alles ist klar deklariert und auch weitere Allergene sind notiert. Man zahlt das Gewicht des selbst beladenen Tellers. Sehr zu empfehlen: Die hausgemachten Eistees.

Self service restaurant with a lot choices. About 80% of food is vegan, vegetarian options clearly marked. I had experience with Tibits in St Gallen and compering those two - Winterthur is better. Place is bigger and has more options.

I guess the expectations for tasty food in Switzerland are pretty low. However I still would expect something better. As a vegan, you won't have many options, as it's mostly vegetarian. They change the buffet so even if you find something you like, they might not have it next time. Food is a hit or miss.

Ich war am Mittwoch, 18.10.2017 im Tibits in Winterthur. Das Personal ist sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Das Buffet bot eine grosszügige Auswahl an warmen, kalten, sowie süssen Gemeinheiten :)
Read moreAlles sehr lecker und farbenfroh angerichtet. Das Auge isst definitiv mit! Das Lokal ist heimelig eingerichtet. Man bleibt also gerne ein paar Stunden dort. Allesesser die mich begleiteten mussten beipflichten, dass beispielsweise Fleisch überhaupt nicht fehlte! Die Preise sind bodenständig und fair.

Read moreI don't know if this is true for all their restaurants, but the one in Winterthur has a vegan day on Tuesdays with only vegan items being sold.
The buffet has cold and warm options to choose from, as well as dessert items and sandwiches.
You can either pick a plate and eat at the restaurant or take your food on the go. Speaking of eating at the restaurant: this place is very popular and you'll often find it filled to the brim at peak hours. Which is what you'll be after eating there, as there are so many delicious options, you'll find yourself putting layer upon layer of food on your plate. Beware though that this place isn't exactly cheap.
