impressive vegan options to fav filipino food!! - Edit
get the spaghetti with 2pcs friend chick'un and some not-tuna empanadas!! we also regularly buy ham & cheese empanadas with out groceries hehe
Read morethe spaghetti and meaty and cheesy!! i think the noodles were a bit overcooked and mushy. i didn't bother me too much but it's an easy fix naman so i do hope they address it:>>
the chicken was smaller than expected given the price. not the best, but still very impressive! the texture was better than most but could still use some work. this isn't a con, more like a prefference-- the "crispiness" is more of a breadding than a crispy batter. it's more similar to the iconic filipino birthday chicken lollipops isntead of the fast food fried chicken like jollibee's and mcdonalds's.
was most excited for the not-tuna pie since it's unique to their business. i honestly expected more.. it did resemble tuna but you had to actively make the connection haha. you have to lean into it; it tastes more and more like tuna the more you eat and think about it 😆
i didn't buy at the time but we do get the frozen version of their ham & cheese empanada from vegan groceries and it's one of my favorite vegan comfort foods 🫶🫶🫶 super cheesy, love the crust, and ham is 👌 i do wish it had more of the ham tho hehehe
hope they also start serving their general tso's!!!!!! not on their menu during Good Good Sundays, but we tried it at VegFest and it was perfectionnn even my non-veg fam loved it 🤣 really have some again 🙏
other than the food, the service was great!! the server was really nice and welcoming.
like all the other vendors at Good Food Sundays, they also clean and use their own reusable ceramic plates and bowl, and use reusable utensils 🥹
this is the first time i bought their cooked meals since theyre pretty far from where i am 💔 but would def buy again when i get the chance!!

Good sisig - Edit
I got to try their sisig at the pop-up at Good Food Sundays with some local chili sauce. It was good, but I wish the sisig was a bit crispier. Wish I’d gotten some empanadas while I was there!
