Lots of vegan foods

Almost the whole menu is vegan (look for green price tags). I was craving western food, especially pizza, so I was quite excited to spot a sweet potato pizza on their menu. Unfortunately it wasn’t close to a pizza - more a soft sweet potato cake with a tiny bit of vegan parmesan on top. Still delicious, but not what I expected. And it could have used a bit more flavor, but I added a bit of salt and then it was alright :)

amazing and tasty food - vegan !!

Really tasty food with many vegan options! I recommend the poke bowls! Completely veggie, but the food options are all mostly vegan!

Pros: Huge amount of vegan options , Good value for money , Adaptable

Cons: Not a lot of drink options

You gonna want to try everything!

I came starving and left absolutely happy (and full). I’ve asked for an Avocado Kale Salad (100k) and it was delicious! The mix of flavours -including pineapple- was perfect💗The service was pretty quick and they were nice enough to change the sauce for my salad without charging me extra (didn’t like the one that came with the salad). Good location, easy to find and definitely with heaps of options to decide. I would go back for sure!

The perfect place for a pit stop.

Plenty of healthy vegan options, the homemade spinach wraps with courgette kofta in particular is delicious. Nice seated area upstairs.

Nice food, a bit expensive

I usually go here when I am craving more westernized food, because they have really good wraps. My friend went with me and she ordered rice with tofu, which tasted delicious as well. We spent a bit more than usual, but understandably so because portion was huge and it is in the middle of the old quarters.

Pros: Good western vegan options

Cons: Expensive especially for vegan

Tasty and nutricious

Me and my hub had the yellow curry, vegan banana pancakes (just ask the staff to veganize them!), coconut coffee, quinoa porridge and coco&choco smoothie there. All were very tasty, refreshing and the meals very nutricious. Staff is super friendly. Thanks for using glass straws!

Pros: Friendly staff, Open to veganize meals, Use glass straws

Lacklustre

Nothing we ordered was worth paying for. Sounds harsh, and normally we wouldn't bother to leave a bad review, but we could barely eat our meals. The red bean panini was so dry it was like flour and the eggplant in tomato sauce was tough and lacking any flavour. The fresh noodle rolls were nice but the dippig sauce accompanying them was tasteless and oily. The beer was the highlight of the meal.

Pros: Nice place to sit

Cons: The food

Stopped here yesterday for some lunch, and the food was so brilliant. I had mango curry and coconut rice and that was delicious and I also had the pumpkin soup and it was all brilliant - will definitely visit again whilst I’m in Hanoi!😄the vegan options are clearly marked on the menu

Pros: Lots of vegan options , Tasty curry, Nice location

Good food at a reasonable price...

I almost passed by the place bit I am glad I stopped in. The menu is small but there are quite a few vegan options. The portions are large and the food is prepared well. A good place to have lunch.

Pros: Pleasant staff works there, Food is fresh and prepared well, Fair pricing.

Best veggie restaurant in Hanoi!

I’ve eaten here two times and everything has been absolutely amazing. The staff is super friendly and helpful and speak very good English, the food and drinks have been heavenly and the whole atmosphere is just great. I could eat here every day. Love it!!

Pros: Friendly and helpful staff, Diverse options for both food & drink, Great quality-price ratio

Fab juices and food!

Sitting on the small balcony overlooking the busy Hanoi streets, sipping virgin passion fruit mojitos was a lovely way to spend a couple of hours. The food was also delicious :-)

Very vegan friendly and great food

It's not super easy to spot the note on their menu, so I'll put it in here. If the price is green it's vegan. If it's red it's vegetarian. But even then, it might be able to be vegan. Like the pad thai can be made with the egg. Once I saw that note, I realized that the large majority of the food is vegan.

The yellow curry is very very good. The apple cake is also quite good. The pad thai was probably the closest I've had to pad thai in Thailand (although still quite different).

Pros: Curry is so good, Tonnes of vegan options

Great selection of food

Very varied selection of food. Smoothies and spring rolls were amazing. Mango curry was good. Don’t get the sweet potato chips as they were very poor. Good selection of western and Vietnamese food. Be careful closed for parts of the lunar new year like a lot of restaurants in Hanoi.

Delicious food

The food is super tasty. I had the vegan mini pizzas and fresh spring rolls. Both were amazing.
The only downsides are it is a little upmarket and is not fully vegan.

Nice place

Completely vegan. Obviously the prices are higher than normal non vegan meals in Hanoi, but because the food is delicious, the good service and nice setting it is a good deal!

Delicious, most of the dishes are vegan

Delicious meals, mostly vegan. You enter at street level and climb up to the 2nd floor, with a nice view to the (busy) street.

Pros: Mostly vegan, Excellent food

Cons: Comparably expensive (but worth the price), Some non-vegan dishes and drinks

Came for the food

Overall good experience. Ordered the European combo platter to get the most bang for the buck. Bang was missing in terms of seasoning but not too bad as a whole. If you're not too picky this place is fine.

Staff very friendly and would go back again.

Great Meal No Waste

We ordered 3 mains and an entree, our eyes much bigger than our stomachs, but enjoyed it all thoroughly! The best natural mango and watermelon jucies we've found and were extra excited to see them come out with reusable straws!! Friendly staff and wonderful food made The Veg our favourite vegetarian eatery in Hanoi. Very impressed.

Pros: Waste free, lots of options, cute interior

Small Central Vegetarian

We came here for breakfast one morning. The food was good. The breakfast menu is mostly vegetarian, but the menu has lots of vegan options include a build your own bowl. We tried the chickpeas with toast and falafel. Both were tasty and reasonably priced.

Awesome place in the Old Quarter (city center of Hanoi), one of the best foods we had

THE VEG is "only" vegetarian, but the vegan options are clearly marked as such (almost everything is vegan).
The food is fresh and delicious, we had one of our best meals there (the Combo 1 was sooo good).
Amazing flavours and food combinations, perfectly cooked.
Highly recommend.

Pros: delicious food, try the Combo 1, sooo good, mostly vegan

Cons: more pricey than other restaurants, but worth it!, waiting time is a bit longer, but food is fresh af

The best spring rolls I've tasted

This place is a really lovely stop in Old Town, Hanoi that you have to check out!, Seriously, the 'Fruit Spring Rolls' (40k Dong) and 'Kombucha - Mushroom tea' (40k Dong) are the best I have ever tasted in the world.

friendly lovely staff too.

I'd say about 80-90% of menu is vegan and clearly labelled.

Glass straws too!

good place for healthy food

the veg is a great place to have some healthy food, lovely sweets and the most amazing drinks!!
i chose their bowl as i liked that i could choose what i wanted (7 choices out of - i think - about 13). the bowl looked delicious. unfortunately, after eating a little and upon closer inspection i realised i had only gotten 5 out of my 7 choices. i told the waitress and got the missing 2 immediately. not super positive though, that she had forgotten about it. if i hadn’t realised soon enough... the taste was nice though. the peanut sauce was excellent and added the much needed spice as the elements of the bowl all came unseasoned. i like it when vegetables taste like themselves, so for me that was ok.
my boyfriend had the banana pancaked and liked (not loved) them.
what really stuck out for me were the drinks!! the virgin passion fruit mojito is to die for!
the veg isn’t the cheapest veggie place in hanoi to eat at, it had the nicest atmosphere of all the places i’ve seen though. and it’s nice to treat yourself once in a while ;)

Pros: healthy , location

Cons: for the price i’d expect to receive right food

Good selection but lacking flavor

I was impressed with the menu and the food looked beautiful coming out. However I was a little disappointed when I started to eat. I ordered the European combo which came with a kale and avocado salad, two mini pizza’s and a pumpkin soup. I thought the portion was great but overall needed more seasoning/sauces. For the price I was hoping for yummier food but it’s still a good choice if you’re looking for healthy options. I won’t be going out of my way to come back.

Pros: Lots of healthy options, Drinks are delicious

Cons: Not worth the price , Lacking flavor
