Lots of vegan foods - Edit
Almost the whole menu is vegan (look for green price tags). I was craving western food, especially pizza, so I was quite excited to spot a sweet potato pizza on their menu. Unfortunately it wasn’t close to a pizza - more a soft sweet potato cake with a tiny bit of vegan parmesan on top. Still delicious, but not what I expected. And it could have used a bit more flavor, but I added a bit of salt and then it was alright :)

You gonna want to try everything! - Edit
I came starving and left absolutely happy (and full). I’ve asked for an Avocado Kale Salad (100k) and it was delicious! The mix of flavours -including pineapple- was perfect💗The service was pretty quick and they were nice enough to change the sauce for my salad without charging me extra (didn’t like the one that came with the salad). Good location, easy to find and definitely with heaps of options to decide. I would go back for sure!

The perfect place for a pit stop. - Edit
Plenty of healthy vegan options, the homemade spinach wraps with courgette kofta in particular is delicious. Nice seated area upstairs.

Nice food, a bit expensive - Edit
I usually go here when I am craving more westernized food, because they have really good wraps. My friend went with me and she ordered rice with tofu, which tasted delicious as well. We spent a bit more than usual, but understandably so because portion was huge and it is in the middle of the old quarters.

Tasty and nutricious - Edit
Me and my hub had the yellow curry, vegan banana pancakes (just ask the staff to veganize them!), coconut coffee, quinoa porridge and coco&choco smoothie there. All were very tasty, refreshing and the meals very nutricious. Staff is super friendly. Thanks for using glass straws!

Lacklustre - Edit
Nothing we ordered was worth paying for. Sounds harsh, and normally we wouldn't bother to leave a bad review, but we could barely eat our meals. The red bean panini was so dry it was like flour and the eggplant in tomato sauce was tough and lacking any flavour. The fresh noodle rolls were nice but the dippig sauce accompanying them was tasteless and oily. The beer was the highlight of the meal.

Good food at a reasonable price... - Edit
I almost passed by the place bit I am glad I stopped in. The menu is small but there are quite a few vegan options. The portions are large and the food is prepared well. A good place to have lunch.

Fab juices and food! - Edit
Sitting on the small balcony overlooking the busy Hanoi streets, sipping virgin passion fruit mojitos was a lovely way to spend a couple of hours. The food was also delicious :-)

Very vegan friendly and great food - Edit
It's not super easy to spot the note on their menu, so I'll put it in here. If the price is green it's vegan. If it's red it's vegetarian. But even then, it might be able to be vegan. Like the pad thai can be made with the egg. Once I saw that note, I realized that the large majority of the food is vegan.
Read moreThe yellow curry is very very good. The apple cake is also quite good. The pad thai was probably the closest I've had to pad thai in Thailand (although still quite different).
Pros: Curry is so good, Tonnes of vegan options

Great selection of food - Edit
Very varied selection of food. Smoothies and spring rolls were amazing. Mango curry was good. Don’t get the sweet potato chips as they were very poor. Good selection of western and Vietnamese food. Be careful closed for parts of the lunar new year like a lot of restaurants in Hanoi.

Completely vegan. Obviously the prices are higher than normal non vegan meals in Hanoi, but because the food is delicious, the good service and nice setting it is a good deal!

Overall good experience. Ordered the European combo platter to get the most bang for the buck. Bang was missing in terms of seasoning but not too bad as a whole. If you're not too picky this place is fine.

Great Meal No Waste - Edit
We ordered 3 mains and an entree, our eyes much bigger than our stomachs, but enjoyed it all thoroughly! The best natural mango and watermelon jucies we've found and were extra excited to see them come out with reusable straws!! Friendly staff and wonderful food made The Veg our favourite vegetarian eatery in Hanoi. Very impressed.

We came here for breakfast one morning. The food was good. The breakfast menu is mostly vegetarian, but the menu has lots of vegan options include a build your own bowl. We tried the chickpeas with toast and falafel. Both were tasty and reasonably priced.

good place for healthy food - Edit
the veg is a great place to have some healthy food, lovely sweets and the most amazing drinks!!
Read morei chose their bowl as i liked that i could choose what i wanted (7 choices out of - i think - about 13). the bowl looked delicious. unfortunately, after eating a little and upon closer inspection i realised i had only gotten 5 out of my 7 choices. i told the waitress and got the missing 2 immediately. not super positive though, that she had forgotten about it. if i hadn’t realised soon enough... the taste was nice though. the peanut sauce was excellent and added the much needed spice as the elements of the bowl all came unseasoned. i like it when vegetables taste like themselves, so for me that was ok.
my boyfriend had the banana pancaked and liked (not loved) them.
what really stuck out for me were the drinks!! the virgin passion fruit mojito is to die for!
the veg isn’t the cheapest veggie place in hanoi to eat at, it had the nicest atmosphere of all the places i’ve seen though. and it’s nice to treat yourself once in a while ;)
Pros: healthy , location
Cons: for the price i’d expect to receive right food

Good selection but lacking flavor - Edit
I was impressed with the menu and the food looked beautiful coming out. However I was a little disappointed when I started to eat. I ordered the European combo which came with a kale and avocado salad, two mini pizza’s and a pumpkin soup. I thought the portion was great but overall needed more seasoning/sauces. For the price I was hoping for yummier food but it’s still a good choice if you’re looking for healthy options. I won’t be going out of my way to come back.
