A great vegan and vegetarian cafe in Hanoi! - Edit
This little place is upstairs and has a cute balcony. You have to go through a glasses shop to get upstairs to the cafe then you’ll find a super cute little place with a great menu full of heaps of delicious veg options. The red bean panini is so good and the vegan smoothie bowl. They also have vegan Vietnamese options which look great.

Nice place, one item mislabelled on menu as vegan, be careful - Edit
Everything was nice. Vietnamese style coffee, the kombucha wasn't too sweet, and the banana crepe was really nice. The staff are helpful and speak English. Just be careful. The cinnamon roll was labelled as vegan, but the menu also said it contained egg. I asked about it and they told me it's not vegan

Great options for everyone - Edit
Went here for lunch today. There are many options so it’s pretty hard to choose, but there is definitely something for everyone and for every time of the day (breakfast, lunch, coffee break, dinner). The food was great too! ☺️
Read moreHowever, I am only giving four stars because the cinnamon roll was declared as vegan even though one ingredient on the list was egg. After asking the waitress and the kitchen staff, they confirmed that the dish is in fact not vegan. Therefore I would recommend to double-check the ingredients and when you’re in doubt, triple-check with the staff - they are happy to help. 😊
Pros: Cheap, Traditional and western food, English menu
Cons: Not everything listed as vegan is actually vegan

Fantastic Vietnamese and Western Restaurant - Edit
I went here for dinner with three of my coworkers, none of whom are vegi. We had had a long day, were all hungry, and they only reluctantly came with me to a vegi restaurant.
Read moreWell, I am glad to report that there was something for everyone, and the three of them left happy and satiated.
Between the four of us, we ordered: the Vietnamese Vegan Noodle Soup, Vietnamese Style Combo, Spinach Pasta Bolognese, the Veg Pizza, Fried Hanoi Spring Rolls, Baked Sweet Potato "Fries," drinks and more. Each dish was delicious, portion sizes were good, and all were beautifully plated and served.
A few dishes had a long prep time (always a good sign) and we were warned by staff of that before ordering. The baked sweet potato "fries" were made of yams (white, drier, firmer and starchier than the orange soft sweet potatoes I'm used to from my home country), but were delicious nonetheless.
Entrance is through an eyeglasses store, which was a bit confusing at first. Prices are a bit high for Hanoi standards, but still very reasonable by international standards. Our large meal for 4 came to about 750k VND.
Once in the restaurant there's a nice ambiance, and there's outdoor seating too on the porch.
My only regret is that I didn't have a chance to come back - will need to visit again when next in Hanoi.
Pros: Delicious, Varied menu
Cons: Slightly hard to find

Great food! - Edit
I’m a asian tofu lover and this place made me drool. I did not have a bad experience in Vietnam in any restaurant, the food they do is gastronomical experience always, but I personally liked this restaurant the most. The tofu was very well prepared, the dish itself was full of tastes. The service was nice and prices good.

Good food, but I waited 30 minutes for my tofu chilli lemongrass when there was no one else there. Was a bit disappointing as I was hoping for a quick stop before heading back to my hostel

Freshly made and delicious! - Edit
I visited this place lots of times while in Hanoi and loved their take on vegan pizza, breakfast falafel and many other delicious dishes. Everything is freshly made and they use good quality ingredients, the dishes are somewhat different from what you would expect them to be like but I loved every single one of them as they are a healthier twist on traditional western recipes. Highly recommendable!

The food was really bad. We ordered vegetables with tofu but got a really fat tofu block with 3 vegetables inside. First time since 3 months travel that we didn't finish our dish... We couldn't eat it because it was to fat...

Bland food and slow service - Edit
Don’t get the sweet potato pizza, it’s flavorless and falls apart. Pad Thai was okay, chocolate cake was tiny and dry, and rest of dishes weren’t memorable. Service was extremely slow, seeing as we were one of two tables they had that night.

Tasty food (a bit on the pricey side) - Edit
Went here for dinner and had the vegan Mapo Tofu. It was really good. You also get to choose your side of rice, so I went for coconut. Sauce for the mapo tofu was delicious, and rice was cooked well. Good portions for the price too.
Read moreUnfortunately, the tofu hadn’t had much done to it, so it was rather tasteless. The rest of the dish was good though, hence the 4 stars. If they crispened up the tofu, or marinated it in some tasty sauce I’m sure it would be five stars.

Cons: A bit pricey , Not fully vegan

Not bad, but stay away from the sauces - Edit
Went there a couple of times. Had the BYO Vegan bowl, Kale salad and the Steamed tofu with peanut sauce.
Read moreThe tofu dish (which is massive for an appetizer btw) is a home run. The tofu is really tasty and the sauce complements it very well. The bowl and the salad were oaky, but nothing special.
Where things go south is when it comes to their sauces - had the mustard and kumquat one. They are oily as hell, lack flavour and have this weird snot-like consistency. Event the peanut sauce that comes with the tof, even tho it tastes pretty good is a snot.
Pros: Tofu appetizer, vegan options, salads
Cons: Sauces

Best food ever! - Edit
Found this restaurant by the reviews on Happy Cow and I’m elated that I was able to eat a meal here. Plenty of seating on the first and third floors and fast and attentive service. I ordered the coconut coffee and asked if it was vegan and was told it could be made vegan. It was sooooo good with shredded coconut on top. For my food I ordered the fresh noodle rolls and the steamed tofu in peanut butter sauce. Both were listed as sides but were so big I had to ask to take them with me. Definitely great tasting food that I’m sure non vegans would enjoy as well. Easy to find location in the Old Quarter.

An Easy Find - Edit
By chance our hotel was just across from this place, making a vegan breakfast an easy find. The place itself is very cute and the staff are very friendly. I tried the coconut coffee which to my surprise was iced but still really delicious, make sure to ask for it vegan. The falafel breakfast set was cheap, delicious and very filling, my girlfriend had the chickpea sandwich which was really filling and tasty, a great place to fuel up for a day of sightseeing. We also went there for coffee & apple cake, the portion was generous enough for us to share.
