My favorite vegan sushi spot - Edit
Best vegan sushi in WA ! I love coming here so much, that I am a regular at this point! I went here for my birthday and made a reservation, the staff was amazing and treated me like a queen. The food is so flavorful that my non vegan friends loved it. the staff is just as great ! Amazing flavors with great textures in the sushi . Don’t forget dessert ! Their vegan cheesecake is amazing & tastes better every time .

A go-to for sushi - Edit
This is the third time my husband and I have come here, and there will be more for sure! Everything is delicious and the service is excellent.
Read moreMy favorite rolls are: red dragon, queen Anne, and bliss!
If you are a fan of very VERY spicy food, try the ring of fire, it will anesthetize your mouth 😂 but if you are not, then this is not for you (it contains habanero)! My husband almost ate all my rolls in the attempt to remove the spiciness from his mouth 😂
I believe the cheesecakes are always changing, I remember ordering something with chocolate last time. This time, the options were strawberry, ube and matcha.
I tried the ube one and it was good!

Absolutely Incredible - Edit
We tried 6 different things in a group and can’t single out one thing to recommend. The nigiri, crunchy rolls, mock tuna, and tofu katsu were all incredible. Service was wonderful and kind.

A dream come true! - Edit
I kicked myself the last time I got sushi from somewhere else, like what was I thinking?! This time I got a free Cupid Roll bc I follow them on IG + I was hella skeptical about the strawberry on top, but I was wrong! It was my favorite of the 3. The spiciness of the Ring of Fire drowned out the flavor + my partner had to get up from the table + walk it off, lol. I enjoyed the Red Dragon, but I won’t get it again. I recommend eating the flower “Lady + the Tramp” style if you’re on a date.
Read moreI do wish they’d handle takeout containers more gingerly (har har) so the sauces don’t get stuck to the lid, but oh well, I can smear it back on.

The best food and Service in Seattle - Edit
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Read moreSushi Samurai is an absolute gem! Their sushi is incredibly creative, delicious, and bursting with flavor—perfect for anyone, whether you're vegan, vegetarian, plant-based, or just curious to try something new. Their vegan sushi options are some of the best I’ve ever had, proving that you don’t need fish to enjoy high-quality, mouthwatering sushi.
The ambiance is cozy and inviting, making it the ideal spot for a romantic date or a fun meetup with friends. The staff is always friendly, welcoming, and attentive, ensuring that every visit is an amazing experience.
If you're looking for a sushi spot that’s thoughtfully crafted, beautifully presented, and consistently delicious, Sushi Samurai will never disappoint. Highly recommend!
Remember that peace starts on your plate, save the ocean the planet and remember that fish are friends, not food.
Also, their desserts are on pointtttt, the best cheesecakes I've had in a long time.
And they do take out platters too!
Give it a try, and you will be amazed.
Ps: if you like spicy, try the Ring of Fire. It always makes me go to another dimension.
Pros: Amazing and quality crafted sushi , Boldo and creative flavors , The staff is so nice and goes the extra mile
Cons: Nothing to dislike ever, Seriously they are the best no bad things, No complaints at all

All Vegan Sushi in a Quaint Neighborhood - Edit
I stopped by here while visiting a friend, and I loved it so much! There aren’t many all vegan sushi places— the last one I went to was years ago in San Francisco. I loved all of the choices on the menu. My vegetarian friend and I ordered a bunch of rolls and shared them all together. The restaurant is quite small, but it is such a vibe. There’s lots of signage that says “NO FISH ALLOWED” which is quite cute! If you’re in Seattle, definitely head up to the charming Queen Anne area and check this place out.

I love the queen Ann roll, the dragon roll, the tiger roll, PNW roll, and sashimi best. But don’t forget their delicious miso soup or seaweed salad! It’s so good.
Pros: Delicious plant based fish options, Flavorful and beautifully presented sushi, Always delicious
Cons: Too many delicious roll options

So, so good! - Edit
Outstanding vegan sushi in a cozy indoor setting with additional outdoor street seating. Green Goddess, Dragon, Crispy Salmon, and Shrimp Tempura rolls were all great. Plus, a robot delivers your food to your table. Cool. Their business has reportedly quadrupled since converting to vegan-only fare.

Great vegan sushi, pricey for food amount - Edit
I first tried this place the week it switched to a fully vegan menu. Really great service and a fun atmosphere, with a cute robot who brings you the food. The food is delicious, with lots of creative options. The only thing is, the last time I went, the sushi rolls were significantly smaller in size for the same high price. I was actually confused when I got my food. So you're paying more for much less now. This was already a splurge/date night place for me, but now I can see myself going even less often.

Samurai-slashin’ satisfactory! - Edit
I’ve never had a thrill eating at a sushi place until this one. Awesome place, and I was able to order anything on the menu without concerns for animal products. I ordered five items and loved all of them plus my friends’ orders that we shared. Well worth the $50 I spent. The human and robot servers were terrific. Definitely a must go for sushi!

New favorite restaurant in Seattle - Edit
This place is amazing. Go here now. We tried several rolls and nigiri and it was all so so good. I especially liked everything with the salmon. The scallop nigiri was also really good. My favorite roll was the tangy salmon with the dragon roll a close second.

Edit March 2024: Ring of Fire was 🔥🔥🔥 They told us it had Ghost Pepper sauce. Too hot for D but I loved it.
Update August 2024: The Tiger roll, PNW, and Queen Anne were some new favorites. We didn’t like the curry roll was much.

Delicious and varied sushi - Edit
Wow - this place had some of the nicest vegan sushi we had ever tried. The "samurai" and the "red dragon", both of which were recommended by the waiter, were by far the standouts. We also tried the salmon nigiri and the shrimp tempura roll, which were both nice, but simpler and not as impressive as the other two. I also ordered the strawberry cheesecake which was delicious if you have a sweet tooth.

We tried the Dragon roll, Red Dragon roll then the owner recommended his wife’s favorite roll. To die for. They have wine/beer/sake House cold sake was delish. was an hour drive for us but we will be back!

So much good food -- even dessert - Edit
We don't have pics because we ate the 5 rolls and dessert we got so quickly. We couldn't help ourselves! It was all delicious 🤤 Do yourself a favor and eat here plus get the cheesecake to top it off. We loved roles: Queen Anne x2, Maui, Geisha and Ring of Fire (it's hot hot).

Average - Edit
I was SO excited to eat here because the reviews seemed incredible, but honestly the sushi was pretty average. There was a group of 4 of us who were all disappointed. The vibe was laid back and casual, and our server was super friendly which was great. Aesthetically the sushi looked beautiful, but it was just lacking flavour. They served the four of us our sushi on one plate (9 rolls but we weren’t sharing) which was a problem because one person had an avocado allergy and my roll with avocado was next to theirs. They also couldn’t split bills. The cheesecake was the best part of the meal

Amazing sushi! - Edit
A little more laid back of a location than I expected based solely on the photos of the food - I was surprised finding nemo was playing in the background haha. wasn't quite the right vibe/distracting. However, the sushi was incredible. Really great price, beautifully plated, tasted incredible. The waiter was also incredible. Gave great recommendations and very friendly. Would love to come back!

Looking for vegan sushi in Seattle?! Here ya go. - Edit
Now we're a bit biased because we've had some really incredible vegan sushi in SF. The vegan fish substitutes can be a bit strange for those not familiar with it. Sriracha was certainly used a lot as the "hot" component in a lot of the dishes. Vegan place trying to make non vegan sushi vers just trying to make great sushi. Over all had a great experience with friends. Strawberry cheesecake didn't last 30 seconds.
