Seeking burger-based satisfaction, I hoped that this smart looking outfit would hold the key to my salvation. The clean, crisp interior of this place, as well as the polite, attentive staff did nothing to dissuade me from thinking I had made the right choice.
Read moreThen, upon receiving my starter, doubts began to creep in. Rather disappointingly, the onion rings were obviously straight from a packet rather than being house-made. Not a cardinal sin, but when offered as a standalone dish, one would expect a higher standard of product. That said, they were tasty enough, though much of this can be attributed to the fantastic accompanying herb dip - it did a lot of the heavy lifting on this course.
Slightly deflated, and not a little trepidatious about what was to come next, I was mentally preparing to give the meal a lukewarm review at best. Then the burger arrived to well and truly put me in my place. Frankly stunning, this towering stack of grilled pear, onion chutney, Parmesan, eggplant bacon, and walnut & maple syrup made for quite a list of toppings, but together, they were an absolute riot. Not to be outdone, the patty held its own, enhancing what was already a sumptuous sandwich.
Almost irrelevant at this point in my mind, but the fries were also very good; I could perhaps have done with a few more, but that’s probably just me.
Please though, don’t do as I did and ignore the fact that this place is cash only. Having travelled through ten different countries in less than two weeks exclusively using my card, I had obviously become slightly blasé about businesses policies. To be fair, this does seem like the type of establishment that would accept card, but I can categorically say, it does not. One frantic dash to a very nearby cash machine later (and having been made to pay exorbitant fees), all was well.
Easily one of the best burgers I’ve had in a very long time - if not ever - I can easily forgive any minor quibbles with the other dishes. Simply superb and well worth a try.

The restaurant is not 100% vegan but haa so many vegan options! Starters, Cocktails and ofcourse great Burgers. Every 'regular' burger has it's vegan option

Unique burgers - Edit
The burgers served in this restaurant have, besides the traditional ones, a unique character, e.g. they are in Mexican or Italian style - with beans and tacos or basil pesto. The portions are big enough for a man. Service was great and we will for sure be coming back someday.

The cheese sauce was delicious and the bacon seemed to be made out of aubergine which was a nice change from fake meats.
Very delicious burger. My partner isn't vegan so it was a great place to please both of us.
Only downside is that the only option was to pay cash, understandable

Half of the menu vegan, all delicious - Edit
We came for dinner and about half of the menu was vegan. We had three different vegan burgers and they were all delicious. It's good to order a dip in addition to the burger, since the burger always comes with fries.

Try the Vegan Caesar burger! - Edit
If you like a Caesar salad then this is the burger for you. Fantastically balanced with croutons in there too to add extra crunch. I thought it was sensational and a great place to visit if you’re in Prague. My partner had the cheeseburger which she loved also.
