Warm and welcoming

The owner came and talked us through the menu - was very happy to make any dish vegan to order. Food was delicious. On the spicy side.

Pros: Welcoming atmosphere, Tasty freshly prepared food, Plenty of vegan options

delicious!!

came here with my friend for an evening meal 🍛 the staff were very helpful and kind, they had banter with the customers which was nice to see. we ordered onion bhajees for starter and i had a vegetable curry and shared a mushroom pilau rice for main. the host was honest with us and said that we should only order 1 side of rice to share as it was a big enough portion - and it definitely was! so much food and it was all delicious and flavourful! my friend (meat eater) could not decide on a naan bread to have with her main so they gave her one on the house which was so kind. a really lovely atmosphere, jazz music being played always and you can definitely tell it's a family run business. we had so much food and only came to £20 each which we couldn't believe. there is a menu online which labels all the dishes as vegan/vegetarian but the only thing to look out for regarding is is that the 'V' symbol means vegan and the 'VG' symbol means vegetarian, which initially confused me.
a lovely meal and experience, would definitely come back here!

Pros: friendly & attentive staff, good atmosphere, delicious & inexpensive food, big portions, multiple vegan & vegetarian options

Cons: no vegan labels on restaurant menus, only online
