It’s an arm and a leg but you get what you pay for

Had one of the best burgers of my life here at the saucy cow, the bbq buck fast. At 16 euros it’s a steep purchase but I’m glad I did it. For a couple mains, a loaded fries to share, and a beer each we ended up spending way, way too much money (about $100 AUD for all your Australians out there) but also worth it to support one of Dublin’s last remaining totally vegan restaurants.
Deep fried jalapeños and onion rings are a legendary combination, far out it was a flippin’ good burger.
We also got loaded Parmesan fries which were very garlic centric but we’re all about that garlic life so no complaints here.
Vegan in Ireland? This is your must stop shop!

Pros: Bbq buckfast burger

Cons: Price point

Damn! The Mushroomburger Rocks!

We looked for something to eat in the evening and got wraps, salad, and the Parmesan fries. It was so tasty that we came back the next day for lunch. Definitely try the Mushroom Burger! 🍔

Pros: Tasty food, Cool Location , Many options

Cons: A bit pricy, but worth every cent!

Great comfort food

Was feeling a solid burger and it hit the spot. Wonderfully comforting and didn’t leave me feeling gross after. I just wish I got a side as well!

Pros: Menu, Staff

Good, filling vegan food

Great place hidden away between Dame Sreet and Temple Bar, which does good, filling plant-based meals.
They had 4 or 5 different burger options. I had the Space Cowboy, a plant-based chicken burger, which was good.
Plenty of side orders too. Would recommend the salt and chilli hash browns.

Pros: Good food, Good service

Was craving a burger, and saucy cow more than satisfied!

The mushroom burger is not your typical mushroom burger. Not a rubbery portobello, but well fried gigantic oyster mushroom. So good.

Tried both salads, and imo the Caesar edged out the southwest with the parmesan shaving.

Delicious food

We went there after our arrival in Dublin and were very happy about the amount of good food.

We ate:
- The Secret Saucy
- The Hot Papi
- The Avocado Crema Hashbrowns
- The Salt & Chili Tofu

I would prefer The Secret Saucy over The Hot Papi, as The Hot Papi was a bit too salty.

Very good food

Food was delicious, best fries ever. We ordered the McDaddy Fried, The Caesar wrap and the Space Cowboy Burgers, all for €40.

Delicious burgers and fries

I had the secret saucy burger and fries, the burger was amazing and the fries really crispy.

Pros: Burger

Cons: Fries are separate to the burger so a bit pricey

Saucy Delicious

Sadly, there aren’t too many vegan restaurants in Dublin. This was one of two that opened that day. It looks more like a pub than a cafe. I had a vegan burger w/o buns and kombucha and the spicy crispy tofu. The tofu appeared to be my favourite of all. I didn’t know you could make tofu so Irish way! 🤩

Thoughtful, tasty.

A really nice selection of burgers and sides. The kind of menu you can tell was put together by vegans who love food.

Satisfying fast food

We visited the Saucy Cow on a fairly busy weekday evening but we were seated right away. The food was delicious and the service was fast.

For people with sensory difficulties, the purple lighting and the loud music might be troublesome.

Pros: Food was excellent, Fast service

Cons: Purple lighting and loud music

Big and dirty!

Big, dirty vegan is right! The Classic burger is pure filth! The best vegan burger I've ever tasted, and the mushroom popcorn bites were great as a side

Pros: Big and dirty burgers, Quick service , Great location, right in the heart of Temple Bar

Easily one of the best spots in Dublin!

The food here is super flavourful and satisfying and the portions are a good size. Even without ordering the extra dips the food is amazing and there’s a good variety on the menu.

I usually get the Caesar wrap, which is filling delicious - the vegan cheese in it is pretty realistic and it’s a really nice option to have next to the burgers. The salt and chilli tofu is equally perfect - it’s spicy enough but not overwhelmingly so.

Pros: Food is super flavourful, Central location, Good range of options

Good fast food

I had a mushroom burger, waffle fries and hash browns. It was delicious. I find it a bit pricey for what it is. There is a lot of options with meat replacement (especially beyond meat) which personally limited my choice as I do not like that but I think it is great for people who do enjoy that.
