I'm so sad I can't eat The Sanctuary's pastries in my hometown in Sweden. We were ecstatic during our visit: everything was so delicious!! GREAT texture and flavor. The coffee was good too. We were lucky to get a spot at one of the three small tables in the café. It gets crowded fast so be prepared to take away.

This is very dangerous for my waistline but delightful for my soul. Everything I’ve tried is excellent—both sweet and salty. You really can’t go wrong.

4.99 Amazing!! Tastes like im in Italy. Tomato sauce the way it should taste at its best! My mouth is watering while writing this. And the cream in the sweets tastes delicious. Funny enough half our bus(around 16 people) got out at this stop and immediately went to this place. It is busy and there aren’t many seats! (At least that was my experience)

It was really hard to make a choice here. We got a box of four pieces with two sweet pastries and two focaccia. It was really amazing. Especially the nougat and pistachio pastries. Yummy!

Hier bekommt man eine große Auswahl an leckerem italienischen Gebäck und einige herzhafte Optionen. Leider hat man drinnen kaum Platz, um sich gemütlich hinzusetzen. Es gibt nur ein paar Sitzplätze auf Hockern. Sehr schade ist, dass man alles nur auf Papptellern und bzw. in Pappbechern bekommt. Das passt eigentlich gar nicht mehr in die Zeit.

Very nice little bakery. Better for take out because the place is really small with no bathroom. Everything looks good. The vanilla croissant are really well done and not very sweet. The chocolatine was too sweet for me.

Here is a small vegan café with sweet pastries as well as savory bakery items. Particularly, the desserts look beautiful, and what I had here so far tasted pretty good as well.

I have tasted pizza slices there as well as cornetto. Both were really satisfying. Especially the pizza slice was way better than I expected considering that it is cold served but still tasty and mouth watering! If I have a chance I will visit them again, highly recommended!

Probably the best vegan pastry I’ve ever eaten! 😍 Everything seemed so delicious and they offer pastries and some salty options, like pizza. Girella alla nocciola absolutely delicious 🤤 definitely get that one! And the pizza rossa was so good, the tomato sauce was so fresh! Cannot wait to go back and get more pastries! Small bakery that sells breads and cakes for the main part. Very little in the way of seating on the inside though, so you’ll need to get lucky if you don’t want to be eating on the hoof.

I have been seeing this place on my Instagram feed for months so I had to try something from here during our trip.
Read moreI got a Maritozzo Pistacchio and baresina con olive and an oat milk latte with two shots of espresso.
GC got a focaccia with olive and tomato, and a chocolate cornetti and they also got an oat milk latte with two shots of espresso.
Both of the deserts and savoury breads were delicious and well worth the walk.
We also bought two focaccia for takeaway as we were so impressed with the place, the two focaccia were one with onion and a pizza one with mozzarella. They were also delicious, the coffee is hands down the nicest coffee I have had in Berlin and possibly ever had.
The staff were lovely and the place even though busy was very cosy and I didn't feel rushed.

We got 2 pastries, 2 savoury options and 2 oat milk lattes with 2 shots of coffee in each. We were so impressed with the food we got 2 more slices of focaccia to take away.

The chocolate cornetti was tasty, and had a slight coconut taste to it. The maritizzo pistachio was sweet and creamy, it tasted slightly of custard.
All of the savoury options were amazing. I honestly wish I could eat here every day.
The staff were lovely and could speak English.
My only complaint is that there was a piece of an olive stone in one of the olives on the focaccia. I can understand that the staff probably don't have the time to check every single olive when they are baking though, so I don't blame them. Just be careful if you're getting something with olives (which you should if you like olives because the ones they use here are amazing).

On a Sunday morning people were queuing outside ahead of opening time, and I'm not surprised - there is a really tempting array of vegan pastries. We tried four sweet pastries and got some savoury focaccia to takeaway and everything was delicious. The pastry was very good (though not quite as crispy as the very best I've had) and the creams were really light and flavoursome. We were satisfied with everything we tried.
Read moreThere's not a lot of seating, so it can be a little crowded if you plan to eat in. They didn't have any chai latte to drink, which was a shame for me, but plenty of coffee.
