Read moreSecond the food was amazing. I cannoli are crazy good (the ricotta tastes exactly like the non vegan one). You have a variety of options. I had a hard time choosing XD.
Third even the savory options are delicious.
We will definitely come back again.
The prices are relatively high, but in my opinion 100% worth it.

Favorite Bakery Stop - Edit
Visited Berlin, this was the best bakery stop we made. We went near closing one day and there was almost nothing left (to be expected). We returned another day closer to opening and everything was in stock and fresh. We got an assortment of their sweet and savory options. We enjoyed the croissant based options as well as the focaccia. This place is worth checking out and you will likely find something you enjoy! The cafe is cute, clean, and offers small stools outside for sitting. They offer a small sampling of drinks in a cooler case.

Ich war als Kind sehr oft auf Sizilien, da Verwandtschaft dort wohnt. Es gab immer Canolli und hab diese geliebt. In vegan ist es dort teilweise schwer zu finden. Umso mehr hab ich mich gefreut endlich diese hier zu finden.

There's fluffy croissants and then there's dense, Italian cornetti. And here, at The Sanctuary, is where you find them in their most delicious, advanced and sustainable state: vegan. What a treat ! Unfortunately we were late in the afternoon, so we did not find the selection of dozens of different pastries, but the cornetti and brioches were otherworldly.

Really nice selection of savory dishes and pastries, and a very cute café overall. The only downside is that there are no toilets, though they do at least have a sink available so you can wash your hands after enjoying the pastries.😉

Very nice selection of baked goods. Got the four piece combo for take out priced 14.90€, got two sweet and two savory snack. Quality is really good, nice taste and not too sweet. I just don‘t enjoy the vegan tax here. Just from the standpoint of ingredients it is quite hefty. I know it‘s a small bakery but still could be more affordable. Recommend it still

I was happy to eat Cannoli at the sanctuary. It is my favorite Sicilian dessert and couldn’t eat at the vegan restaurant even in Italia. So you can imagine how happy I was. However, the quality of breads were just ok. Staffs are not friendly, all the water stains on the plate & cups. The staff said the water is bad in Berlin and she said they can’t polish which is nice excuse cuz I see other restaurants polish it with linen clothes and so on. When the basic sanitizing is bad, I don’t understand why you do the f&b business. You can do better than this. Overall impression is overrated.

Read moreWe had the Saccottino and Cornetto, we were hoping to get some of their other sweet treats but it seems they sell out fast, so if you want to have a lot of choice, you'd better arrive as early as you can.
The staff was friendly and welcoming.
A few eat-in tables but no toilets, though.
Definitely a place to check-out when you are in Berlin!
