Great food and great service - Edit
Amazing menu. I wish I could have been able to try more things because everything looked great. The scramble tofu was seasoned perfectly and the pancakes were super light and fluffy.

Awesome Food - Edit
Can't tell you how much we enjoyed this place. We took the family here after they landed at Harry Reid. Convenient to get to from the airport and the strip. We're excited to try their new menu items. One thing: the music was a little too loud.

Food powerhouse in a stiripmall - Edit
The server recommended the chick'n & waffles and it was the best meal I had on my Vegas trip. Also had a very good iced coffee to beat the heat. Large menu, everything's vegan, cool ambience. Doesn't look impressive from outside but I'd eat there again anytime. Lots of promising-looking burger options.

Our first stop in Vegas, baby! - Edit
Brought the whole family here as soon as our flight landed. We went a little overboard and ordered enough food for 2x as many people. Well worth it, and looking forward to trying them again when we get home to Michigan, as they just opened a location in Royal Oak.
Pros: The Crab Benedict , The pancakes , The server’s other vegan Vegas recommendations.
Cons: The price $$$, Using lightlife bacon…not as great as the rest, The Mexicana tacos were bland

Great spot. The menu is gigantic! I went solo, would be nice to got back in a group so I could try a few more items.
Read moreI got the Mac Attack, a take on the Big Mac. Be forewarned it is freakin HUGE. Too big for me to hold or finish but quite tasty.
I’d love to go back for breakfast or brunch. Solid looking breakfast menu that contains biscuits and gravy. Also they make bloody maries. I’m into it.
Pros: Loads of options , Big portions , Right by the Double Down Saloon. Up the punx!

Simply one of the best… - Edit
One of the best vegan restaurants I’ve been to, probably ever. I remember visiting this one once before when I was in the area. This second visit did not disappoint. I tried the Sunday Funday off the breakfast menu which came with pancakes, tofu scramble, potatoes and sausage. Everything about this meal was perfect right down to the potatoes which were crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. The portions were quite large as well. It is a bit pricey, but worth it in my opinion.

We walked nearly one hour from the Strip to the Modern Vegan. And it was worth it. The staff was very nice and the food is excellent. We had the boueff straganoff and the greek salad. The portion are really huge and we couldn't manage.

Amazing Diner Style Vegan Restaurant - Edit
Loved this place, we got the nachos, Brisket Mac n Cheese and the Green Curry. All were super tasty. Large portions, the Mac n Cheese could easily serve two people (especially after the nachos as an app). Our server, Nicole, was super fun and helpful in explaining the menu. I would 100% come here all the time if I lived in Vegas. Will def visit again when I go back! FYI - the photo of the nachos were already half eaten 😇🤦😋

Expensive food with little seasoning - Edit
First time trying and we got the biscuits and gravy with potato skin appetizer and the Vegas Bella smoothie. Potato skin was delicious though I wouldn’t say $15 worth. The biscuits and gravy was $28 total with $5 added on for adding sausage or chicken cutlet. The gravy texture was good, the flavor was eh. The biscuit was too moist and somehow lacked flavor, tasted like they managed to somehow water down the biscuit flavor, the cutlet was an eh texture and flavor, the sausage was good and the most flavorful part of the dish but that’s because it was Beyond brand. The breakfast potatoes included with the dish, were also lacking in seasoning but were cooked nicely. My smoothie looked good but was watered down and barely had flavor, despite there being peanut butter in it, it’s a small like 8oz glass for $12… I’ve had better tasting smoothies for $9 in a 16oz glass. Ultimately we decided pay for our food and find somewhere else to eat since we couldn’t force ourselves to eat it. Maybe the other dishes taste better, otherwise I’m not sure how this place has such high ratings.

LOADS of vegan options to choose from .. - Edit
i walked for over an hour to try this restaurant 😭 i wanted to try it so badly whilst i was in vegas.
Read morethe menu here is huge, it is so difficult to choose what you want to eat, especially considering the portions are massive so you can't over order.
i ended up going for a vanilla milkshake to drink and the crispy chicken sandwich which came with chips. the milkshake was delicious, thick and sweet & i loved it. the chicken sandwich was very lovely too! i couldn't fault it - it was well seasoned and quite spicy which i wasn't expecting, but was a nice surprise. there was just so much of it! i wish i could have tried more dishes here as there were just so many to choose from - would defo come back if i was in vegas again.

Amazing - Edit
The food was so good, and since the portion sizes were so large, I feel like I got a lot for the money. It’s not in the most central Vegas place, but it’s definitely worth the stop

Large portions, friendly service - Edit
Extensive comfort food menu. While menu prices are high, portion sizes are large. We had the Veggs Benny and What Stays in Vegas breakfast. Good and filling, but missed a few things (thus 4 stars). Mashed potatoes and tofu scramble a bit neutral flavor, tomatoes and spinach overcooked on the English muffin, which made it soft. Avocado and tofu strips were excellent. (Tried a burger several years ago which was 5 stars).

Good Vegan Food - Edit
100% vegan restaurant right outside of the UNLV arena. Saw the reviews and had to give it a try. The food was good and the portions were huge! My Mom and I both agreed that our entrees lacked seasoning, not the potatoes though. I wasn't fond of the eggs but that's my personal opinion . Will definitely go back, when in town again, to try something different!

Great first trip, negative take out - Edit
We enjoyed when we went to sit down so much that I ordered pick-up a couple nights later. The pick up night, I got the food, asked for utensils and was told they didn't have any. The employee suggested I go to the convenience store next door to get them. I tried but they didn't have any. I ordered a spaghetti like pasta meal which I could not eat without utensils so I ended up throwing out my $30 dinner. I am still bummed about it. That could have been handled a lot better on their end. When we sat down, we liked the menu and couldn't decide what to eat! We were surprised at the high prices but understood then when we saw the portions. The portions were massive - neither of us could have finished it. Since we were at a casino with no refrigerator or way to warm up food, we shared one dish.

Overachieving but... - Edit
I'm not sure where the rumor started that vegans crave everything meat eaters eat, and need Gigantus portions; as almost a lifelong vegan I still enjoy more than anything a fresh salad, clean food, and not necessarily the look and feel of animal products.
Read moreWhile I understand that that is not as common, especially in America, the gratuitous amount of food served in this place is a tremendous turn off.
The menu is extremely extensive but all over the place. I'm not sure why a place that calls itself Modern feels like a 50s diner and expands its menu to other cuisines like Indian food and Asian flair. (When the concept was built around to classic American food?)
It's extremely expensive, especially the appetizers and although I will say that one of my three appetizers was pretty much perfect, taste wise (jumbo shrimp), It still wasn't worth the cost.
We had three appetizers one entrée and one drink each and it came to almost $150?!
That to me is not just a waste of money, but also a tremendous waste of food.
Pros: Jumbo shrimp
Cons: Menu way too extensive, Better to focus less and make it taste better, Expensive

Good, but expensive - Edit
Great service, extensive menu, but expensive. Most meals were $23 or $25, and kid’s meals were $15, and only included the 1 main item. Ex: my daughter got a simple cheeze quesadilla, no sides or anything else came with it.

AWESOME Vegas vegan spot - Edit
Wow, this menu is huge and the vibe is really good. It’s off the strip a bit, but it’s definitely worth it if you need a lunch spot. I wouldn’t necessarily go here for dinner, but for lunch, it’s great cause you get off the strip for a second you get your luncheon. They’ll definitely have leftovers cause the portions are big. We definitely recommend.
