Great food and great service - Edit
Amazing menu. I wish I could have been able to try more things because everything looked great. The scramble tofu was seasoned perfectly and the pancakes were super light and fluffy.

Great first trip, negative take out - Edit
We enjoyed when we went to sit down so much that I ordered pick-up a couple nights later. The pick up night, I got the food, asked for utensils and was told they didn't have any. The employee suggested I go to the convenience store next door to get them. I tried but they didn't have any. I ordered a spaghetti like pasta meal which I could not eat without utensils so I ended up throwing out my $30 dinner. I am still bummed about it. That could have been handled a lot better on their end. When we sat down, we liked the menu and couldn't decide what to eat! We were surprised at the high prices but understood then when we saw the portions. The portions were massive - neither of us could have finished it. Since we were at a casino with no refrigerator or way to warm up food, we shared one dish.

Cons: Pricey but you get large portions, Didn't have utensils for take out

Overachieving but... - Edit
I'm not sure where the rumor started that vegans crave everything meat eaters eat, and need Gigantus portions; as almost a lifelong vegan I still enjoy more than anything a fresh salad, clean food, and not necessarily the look and feel of animal products.
Read moreWhile I understand that that is not as common, especially in America, the gratuitous amount of food served in this place is a tremendous turn off.
The menu is extremely extensive but all over the place. I'm not sure why a place that calls itself Modern feels like a 50s diner and expands its menu to other cuisines like Indian food and Asian flair. (When the concept was built around to classic American food?)
It's extremely expensive, especially the appetizers and although I will say that one of my three appetizers was pretty much perfect, taste wise (jumbo shrimp), It still wasn't worth the cost.
We had three appetizers one entrée and one drink each and it came to almost $150?!
That to me is not just a waste of money, but also a tremendous waste of food.
Pros: Jumbo shrimp
Cons: Menu way too extensive, Better to focus less and make it taste better, Expensive

Still just as amazing as our first visit. Great menu. For vegans where options are often limited, it's almost overwhelming*.

The poutine fries are out of this world.

Note: Although, they do still sell Diet Pepsi, which isn't vegan. I did point this out to them last time in September 2023 but it's still on the menu.

Huge menu & huge portions. Cool atmosphere and delicious food. We went here last year on our trip to Vegas and went again this year. Worth the hour walk from the strip.

Good, but expensive - Edit
Great service, extensive menu, but expensive. Most meals were $23 or $25, and kid’s meals were $15, and only included the 1 main item. Ex: my daughter got a simple cheeze quesadilla, no sides or anything else came with it.

AWESOME Vegas vegan spot - Edit
Wow, this menu is huge and the vibe is really good. It’s off the strip a bit, but it’s definitely worth it if you need a lunch spot. I wouldn’t necessarily go here for dinner, but for lunch, it’s great cause you get off the strip for a second you get your luncheon. They’ll definitely have leftovers cause the portions are big. We definitely recommend.

Amazing - Edit
We ate here multiple times whilst in Vegas. It is slightly off the strip and from the outside you wonder if it was worth the journey. Once inside though it’s lovely with friendly staff and an amazing menu! We tried most things over our visits and all were good. I would highly recommend.

Fantastic Vegan spot - Edit
Fantastic vegan spot right off the strip. Huge portions, so you get your moneys worth. Great comfort food options and b fast all day!! Service is fabulous. Carlos is a real gem who radiants great energy. Aubrey is a sweetheart as well. Don’t let the super dark outside fool you, they’re probably open during business hours even though it looks closed by how tinted the windows are. A must try. Support vegan businesses!!!

This place is great. They have a massive menu with everything from breakfast, to burgers, wrap, salads, bowls, and classic American dishes. The biggest issue I always have when I come here is trying to decide what I want. Service is always fast and friendly.

excellent vegan comfort food - Edit
So great to be able to get a vegan breakfast without having to worry. I had the Sunday Funday which is basically pancakes, home fries, "bacon", and a tofu scramble. The pancakes and home fries were especially good. I love coming here when I'm in Vegas.

I grew up in a Latinamerican country, became vegan/vegetarian and then moved to the US. I can see this place as a great place to have a taste of American food from a vegan perspective . Awesome!

Big portions of yummy comfort food - Edit
I got the bbq Mac and cheese. It’s a huge portion and the brisket is quite meaty. Took half for leftovers. Really enjoyable. I got the “oh my god” brownie with ice cream. It was a little over cooked and was a bit rubbery on the edges, but pretty good.

Best pancakes - Edit
Huge menu. It's hard to find a good vegan brunch and this place nails it with their big breakfast platters. Haven't found vegan diner style pancakes this good in awhile! Tofu scramble was good but could use a little more seasoning. Also enjoyed the jalapeño poppers.

Just okay - Edit
We got the poutine which was just fries, shredded cheese, and gravy. Not worth it. The chick’n Alfredo was the best thing we ordered. We got a lobster roll which was also meh, and a side of Mac n cheese which was kinda watery and blah. Overall the price doesn’t justify the flavors. Portions are big though. Next time I’ll go to the black and blue diner instead.

So many choices - Edit
The menu was huge and had a variety of different options. My friend and I split the Cowboy burger which had a great sauce on it, but I wasn't the biggest fan of the type of bacon they use. We then had the BBQ Brisket Mac & Cheese. I really liked the brisket but felt meh about the cheese sauce, we also didn't get as much brisket on top as the pictures online showed😡it looked really small in person. I also got the fizzy cherry float which was super yummy and a good treat to cool off with after being out in the sun.

Quantity over quality - Edit
Disappointing especially considering the price point. I would have preferred portions half the size (literally. They are absurdly large.) but that tasted better. I ordered the chicken fettuccine Alfredo and it was huge but extremely under seasoned - it basically tasted like coconut milk. I added a ton of salt, pepper, and nooch to make it edible. The broccoli pieces were also huge and unseasoned. My husband’s chicken Mac and cheese wrap was better but also very unevenly seasoned.

Full vegan menu - Edit
The menu!!! I made a huge mistake and got a burger the first time I went. Don’t get me wrong the burger was great. But I can make burgers at home. Why didn’t I get one of the Mac and cheeses, or the crab cakes or po’ boy. I missed on an Omnivore type meal with a vegan spin. When we went back I tried the steak stroganoff fettuccine. It was perfect. The buffalo cauliflower is a great app. So many choices. I thought the prices were appropriate. Very clean space and the staff was friendly chill and helpful. Not rushed

Delicious - Edit
We came here while on vacation in Vegas and ended up back a second time. The menu is large with a wide range of offerings. This was one of the few fully vegan restaurants that I found that had typical breakfast items which was a plus for us, but I do wish they were open earlier. We don’t eat out a lot, so the prices seemed a little high but the servings were large.

Prices not justified - Edit
I've been here a few times both for dine-in and carry-out so I know it's expensive and usually worth it, but today the prices were totally not worth the kind of gross food I received. I ordered the chicken mac & cheese wrap and based on the website pics I thought it would be a gooey cheesy delight. Instead I got big chunks of dry chicken wrapped up in a dry tortilla with the driest, most uncheesy noodles. I think I saw one strand of cabbage. Somehow the wrap was warm but the fries in the same box were cold and unsalted. Thankfully they gave me several containers of catsup to disguise the taste and texture of this incredibly overpriced meal.
