Updated Review! I returned recently to The Land of Kush and I had the absolute pleasure of trying the vegan crab cake wrap. I was blown away! The flavors were perfectly balanced—savory, satisfying, and every bit a testament to the culinary magic happening in their kitchen by the young lady with the loc's who gave me the warmest greeting.
Read moreThe texture of the crab cake was spot-on, giving that authentic "crabby" feel without any of the guilt. The freshness of the wrap ingredients complemented the crab cake beautifully, making for a meal that's as vibrant as it is delicious.
If you're looking for a spot that knows how to elevate plant-based cuisine to an art form, look no further. The Land of Kush is officially one if my go-to for amazing vegan eats. Don't walk—run to try this masterpiece!

Good Food! - Edit
Ordered from DoorDash after trusting the reviews and I’m glad I did! Had the special platter with ribs, Mac and cheese, and collard greens. I also had the crab cakes (which were more like balls but still good). The ribs come with a lot of sauce and I wished I had some rice for it to go with, and the Mac and cheese needed a lil something more but I still enjoyed it all.

A disappointment - Edit
After being a regular customer of places like NuVegan and Dodah’s kitchen, I had high expectations of Land of Kush after reading all the reviews. Their Mac and cheese was the most bland Mac and cheese I ever had. Their sweet potato was sickly sweet and I could not even finish it. Their chicken tenders were lots better although I’d have liked them to be a bit more tender. People working there were really nice

A Baltimore classic, this place knows exactly what it is and delivers great soul food in a cozy location. Not the fanciest of places, but the food is incredible across the board.

Dishes are mixed, ambiance not great - Edit
I enjoyed the vegan crabcake platter with kale and yams very much. They have a counter and a few wooden tables with bar stools. Looks like a take out place. Went with an omnivore who was not into the chicken curry.

Overpriced - Edit
The food is okay but for the price it just isn't worth it. It doesn't taste like something that should cost $50 minimum for lunch for me and my partner. I don't go here anymore since trying Dodah's, tbh. Also, the quality control is inconsistent. I've only had it for takeout though. Maybe it's better if you eat it there.

Amazing - Edit
Stop what you are doing and head to this spot! I was visiting the area and came across this local vegan restaurant and decided to stop in. Thank God I did. Everything I had was amazing from the Mac N "Cheese" to the curry "chicken" was incredible. I have to say, the coconut curry cabbage was THE BEST. The wonderful woman who took care of us emanated such a sweet, caring, and loving vibe to EVERYONE who came in. I will be returning once more before I head back home. Great experience 👍🏻

amazing mac and cheese and dessert! - Edit
I ordered delivery so when it got here I was a bit worried the food wouldn't be as good but the mac and cheese was AMAZING. I wish they had more pictures on the delivery apps (Doordash, Uber Eats, etc.) And noted when they were out of stuff, but regardless the food is really good!

Fantastic - Edit
The staff is always super friendly. They make you feel so welcome.
Read moreLove the veggie ribs. Excellent meaty texture and a huge portion. Nice bell pepper flavor in the sauce. The baked mac is pretty good. The yams are very sweet and cinnamony. The collard greens are simple and smoky.
I wouldn’t recommend the sesame spinach. Quite oily.
Love the lentil patties. They have the texture of falafel but with different spices.
Surprisingly, I’ve never had trouble parking here. Always been able to parallel park right there on N Eutaw St.

Not for me - Edit
I tried Land of Kush while visiting Baltimore, unfortunately it was just not for me. I tried the ribs, Mac, and candied yams. The Mac was odd, strange texture and aftertaste. The other two were alright, just a bit too saucy and sweet for me, I probably made a bad choice on what I ordered, lots of things on the menu did look better. On the plus side, portions were massive for anyone real hungry trying it out.
Read moreI also ordered corn bread but they forgot to include it. The carrot cake which they get from another local producer was delicious, best part of my meal. Overall a bit too pricey for something I didn't enjoy very much. I did get it delivered so the texture of the items might have changed in transit.

The entire menu is vegan. As vegetarian tourist in this part of the country, I enjoyed the "crab" cakes. The workers were friendly and helpful. Don't skip the candied yams, my favorite item!

HAIR IN MY FOOD. - Edit
so okay, I got the chicken salad wrap which tasted pretty good but still made me feel sick (idk maybe too much mayo?) with a live kale Salad. salad is WAY too garlicky and honestly just tasted gross it was like taking a spoonful of a jarred minced garlic BLEH. then for dinner we ordered the special platter that is not worth 17 dollars. bbq ribs, kale salad, and macaroni. the macaroni is DISGUSTING its not macaroni and cheese it's macaroni and weird white crumbles and looks extremely unappetizing it looks like gruel! the only thing that was actually good was the BBQ ribs BUT IT GETS BETTER!! as I'm biting into the last soy chunk I pull a hair out of my mouth!!! what the heck!! it is a long black hair and my family is blonde and only men with black hair were serving me and they all had short hair so.. whoever prepares the food does not wear a Hair net. I feel disgusting and wouldn't recommend this place to anyone I loved.
