Best vegan ice cream around - Edit
The Hop keeps getting better for vegans every time we go. This location has a separate vegan counter with almost a dozen flavors. Offers vegan hot fudge and vegan pints which are also excellent.

Local Vegan Ice Cream - Edit
We enjoyed our visit to Hop. They had several vegan flavors, service was friendly and quick and they are a local business. The ice creams we tried were really good and we look forward to returning to get to try others!

Finding a place that serves vegan ice cream that isn’t just sorbet is always difficult. The Hop not only has vegan ice cream, but they seem dedicated to expanding them and they have multiple locations. We got a couple of milkshakes, and while they weren’t amazing, sometimes it’s just nice to be included.

The Hop is a longtime local favorite. They have a separate vegan menu posted with many options to choose from, using a variety of plant milks. The ice cream is good and my partner is a big fan of their shakes. Cones are vegan also. Great place.

Lots of vegan options- clearly labeled and well separated from the regular ice cream. I appreciated that they had different non dairy milks used for their ice creams (hemp, oat milk, almond, etc.) as I can’t have almond milk. Waffle cones are vegan too which is a bonus. Vegan mint chip was good😋

West Asheville ice creamery offers selection - Edit
On our visit to this particular location of The Hop, the menu board had 8 flavors plus a special flavor, for a total of nine vegan flavors. We had the expresso crunch made with almond milk; the lemon-pistachio made with cashew-coconut milk; and the mint chocolate chip made with hemp milk.
