Philly Vegan Ice Cream Jawn

I love that The Franklin Fountain has so many vegan options. The line begins outside the ice cream shop so get there early. The wait time was cool. They have menus outside the store. The inside is like a mini time zone that brings out the history of the ice cream shop.

Beautiful Store; Great Ice Cream!

I was so happy to find this vegan ice cream and soda store. It is like walking into the past! The drinks they sell are “health” drinks in the old fashioned sense: they have various cordials and flavors that folks in the past may have found beneficial. I tried one and it was refreshing!
But I really went for the ice cream. They have a decent vegan menu of flavors. I had mint chip and it was delicious. They have cones but they also serve cups in their cute little take out boxes. It’s on the pricier side but the scoops are big! !

Excellent vegan ice cream

Small selection, but great ice cream. I had the vegan mint chip (coconut based). There were multiple listed vegan toppings as well. Fun place to stop in Philly.
