Best pain au chocolate in London?! - Edit
My partner thinks this is the best croissant and pain au chocolate in London, I loved that the have a Vegemite cheesy scroll (the Aussie in me). The iced chai was delicious and didn't need any extra sweetness in my opinion.

London needs more spots like this - Edit
Sometimes you just want a nice sandwich or pastry and a coffee. The chains occasionally offer a vegan croissant filled with jam for some reason. The Fields Beneath satisfies my wants but it is definitely expensive

Absolutely lovely! - Edit
Their sandwiches are so creative and flavourful! I wish I still lived as close to this place as I used to, cuz with the opening hours it’s a bit tricky to visit if not local

The Fields Beneath is now my favourite ever cafe, while I was staying in London for six days I managed to try six different dishes from them, each was absolutely delicious!!
Read moreThe coffee is literally the best I've ever tasted, I was blown away. The staff were so lovely, I'm now planning more trips to London based around eating there every day 😂
Thanks so much 😘 💚☕🌯🥙🥪🥐🥯🍪
I tried and HIGHLY recommend:
Lebanese 7 spice aubergine panino
Pain au mocholate (absolute delicious vegan filth 😍)
Mushroom gyros wrap (had spiced potato in too, really delicious)
Croque Monsieur croissant (cheese sauce, tomato and pesto)
Anzac biscuit
Aubergine chilli crisp panino

The best vegan cafe - Edit
It’s a small, incredibly lovely and friendly all-vegan cafe with a changing menu, but absolutely delicious every time. I’ve enjoyed a Benedict bagel, tofu wrap, jackfruit brioche burger, marmite pastry scroll, vegan scotch egg, as well as a gorgeous selection of vegan sweet treats

Tasty - Edit
This is a very cute breakfast spot located right next to a train station. We stumbled upon it the day before when walking to Camden market and knew we had to try it out. My sister went for the lemon slice which was a very generous portion. I got a pain au chocolate and we shared a toasted bagel. That last item was really tasty but extremely messy to eat. The plate was really small so I got some scrambled tofu on my pants. The pain au chocolate satisfied my craving for a pastry. The staff weren’t that friendly though, I felt a bit rushed when ordering.

Great coffee and completely vegan. - Edit
What’s not to like? The coffee is top notch, all the food is vegan (there were two gluten free cake options), staff are friendly and understanding about special diets. Love the plants. Very pleasant to sit outside on a sunny day. I am very picky about my coffee places and absolutely would recommend 100%. Try the tahini brownie with your espresso. Amazing.
Read moreUpdate - tahini brownie is no more, but there’s a brilliant replacement which has seasonal fruit in it (has been raspberries, and plum, in recent months). It’s so hard to find places that are vegan and do gluten free, so this is a regular haunt of mine. Cannot recommend enough.

I’ve had this on my bookmarks the last few weeks now, so it sounds like I need to make it up there soon. Especially if you, of all HC members, are raving about the coffee. ☕️ 😄

Gem of a place - Edit
I actually found this place when searching for our dinner on deliveroo...at lunchtime. Next day, we went for breakfast (I love how they open really early!). I had the scrambled "egg" bagel and my husband had the rarebit croissant. Both delishish. We also had yummy pastries and the coffee was decent. We visit again.
