Should be called ‘salt house’

Food was waaaay too salty. Waited long for table and fulfilled my sodium requirement intake for the year. Really turned my stomach and felt it all night. Cider was good, food was not.

Great atmosphere, ciders and food

Great ciders, with tons of flavours, the flights are a nice way to sample a variety.
Food is good, if a little salty! Oyster Mushroom calamari is a treat (not for people who don't like fishy flavours, tastes like scampi).
Outside seating on the balcony is very cute, nice ambience and lighting.
Nice place for a date night or small group dinner & drinks.

Pros: Fully vegan, Lots of cider options & tasters, Cute atmosphere

Cons: Not cheap, Doesn't do bookings which can cause failed visits

Love them! The kale Caesar is fantastic

One of our regular favourite spots in the city everything we’ve tried has been great (except maybe the nachos) I love kale Caesar salads and this is my absolute favourite the crispy capers are great and I think it’s crispy plantbase bacon they use which is great. The cider flights are good the blackberry hibiscus is my favourite and the brunch is great too. Good patio for covid times too and you can grab a jar to take to the beach!

Pros: All vegan , Range of healthy and not options , Good drinks

Good place if you like cider

Great selection of (mostly local) ciders - they offer flights so it's a good chance to try many different varieties which is always fun! We had some nibbles as well but decided they were far too expensive considering their size. Not the most "atmospheric" place (I wouldn't go there for a romantic dinner) but definitely OK if you want to meet your friends for a chat.

Dreadful, expensive, no soul

The ambience is high school cafeteria. The music is bog standard. Cider drinks expensive Sea Cider is great but $9 for a small glass is over the top. Dark Matter beer is great but also overpriced. Avoid the poutine. No excitement there either. Near Kits Beach only positive.

Pros: Vegan food, Near beach, Kits

Cons: Pricey as hell, Boring, Indifferent service

LOVE this place!

One my favourite vegan spots in the whole of Vancouver. There’s no shortage of places to get a vegan burger in the average city these days, but the burger here is just perfectly classic. Love the mushroom “calamari” and my girlfriend went crazy for the nachos. The cheesecake dessert finished it off beautifully. Thanks!

Pros: Classic hits-the-spot burger, Fried food isn’t too greasy, Will make you dream of more

Cons: Wasn’t very hot when I picked up our take away.

It was ok 3.5 stars

Got the house burger, the chilli con queso and a dry cider.

The chilli con queso was pretty good, liked the tortilla chips and the pico de gaio. The chilli con queso was good but it was just like a smoother version of hummus - not spicy or cheesy. The dish could be enhanced with some gooey cheese and guacamole.

The house burger was interesting, the patty was good but I can't describe the flavours at all....I loved the pickles and the other components on there. The potato bun was ok. The bf enjoyed the burger more than me.
The matchsticks was not what I thought it was....it was thinly fried potato curls....I thought it would be fries....so it was a let down in an unusual way. I think a clearer description is needed.

The side of caesar salad was good, lovely ingredients, the dressing was a bit too generous, so it became too creamy for a salad.

The dry cider was good, they only have a sour beer as the only beer on the menu.

The place was good, looked nice and is in a fab location. Half way through our food, the music got extremely loud for some reason which was very unpleasant. I get that it's predominantly a bar, but the music volume was unbearable.

$52 for 3 things is a bit on the expensive side for us, considering that everything was just ok.

Cons: Loud music, Needs more beer options
