I had the crispy chicken wrap. The yuba(tofu skin) inside tasted like solidified grease. Probably one of the worst things I’ve ever had.

Delicious dinner after a long flight - Edit
Upon arrival in NYC after a lpng trip, we enjoyed a light but fulling dinner, sharing 3 appertizers for 2.

Less vegan than they once were - Edit
My wife and i used to regularly eat there. There were always ample choices for a vegan. In the last couple of years they’ve decided to add eggs to more and more dishes and they have a smaller menu. I would have given 5 stars. No more.

Brought my meat eating friends who live in Brooklyn here - it was a bit embarrassing. Basically the epitome of an overpriced vegan place where you will not get full.
Read moreThe beet burger was a babyfood mush of beets fried in a patty shape with dairy cheese and a mouse-dream of aioli. There was nothing special about it to warrant the price - it came with house made potato chips which were good. I can't complain about fried potato coins. That's literally it though . The gluten free bread was a 2 dollar upcharge (i call this my "allergy tax") - and it sucked anyway.
Got a juice which was good, but for 11 dollars I could pay someone to squeeze all the ingredients into my mouth.
My one friend got the grain bowl which had an oppressive amount of dressing on it. Not enjoyable!
No one thought their meal was that great. I apologized and promised we would all go to Steak City Cheese-ville next time and I'll just eat a SALAD. Thanks.
On a plus note, the waitstaff was very nice.

This cafe, which has a very large area, has a wonderful view for meeting and the foods are nice. I will always find my way back here whenever I’m in town for sure 👍

I like the menu at this place a lot and the food/drinks are generally really good. But everything is really overpriced by at least a few bucks, which gets old as the bill adds up. Be prepared to overpay, but it’s a good place if you can stomach the price.

I ordered brunch for pick-up and was pleased with everything. Tofu scramble was bland but I’m not dodging any stars for that since I liked everything else, especially the adzuki bacon and their home made granola.

Went with some friends and we got the avocado toast, country breakfast (made vegan), and the french toast casserole! They were all just fine! It’s super lame that they charged another $2 to make the country breakfast vegan!! The tofu scramble was cold and unseasoned, so it just tasted like the stuff straight out of the package :(

Worst service I’ve ever received - Edit
We made a reservation for 13:00 and even turned up 10 minutes early to be courteous. We had to wait at the hostess stand for nearly 50 minutes before being seated. Multiple groups arriving after us were seated and when we asked the “manager” about this, he was very rude, short and walked away scoffing to himself. After finally being sat, we asked for a high chair for our 1-year-old and were told they don’t have one….after standing there for nearly an hour with the child, you’d have thought maybe they’d mention this? I asked if they could request to temporarily borrow one from one of the many neighbouring restaurants and cafes and we were told “no”. I have never received such disrespect and disregard at a dining establishment in my life. We will not be returning and I would dissuade anyone else from doing so.

I always take omnivores here for brunch because there is something for everyone. I’ve been to two locations and they are amazing. The food is delicious always, and the service is great. The have a liquor license too if that’s your thing! Everything can be veganized, even if it is only vegetarian on the menu.

Very expensive, limited vegan options (compared to other restaurants in Brooklyn) and I got really sick the next day. Didn’t like anything I ordered (Caesar salad, chocolate cake, and mocktail). I encourage you to spend your time and money elsewhere, there’s lots of other good places in the neighborhood
