Great "full English breakfast" for tourists - Edit
As Australians on holiday, we knew we wanted to have an iconic full English breakfast and were really happy with the vegan option provided at The Breakfast Club.
Read moreThe sausages were so good, had us questioning if they were even vegan (we confirmed they were). Good size portion too
Staff were really friendly

Delicious brunch - Edit
We were able to get seated at the bar with no booking and it was a very delicious, quickly prepared meal and we also got oat milk flat whites which were great

Yummy!! - Edit
Would give a 5 star if I could! Not many options for vegan/veggie but the few were fab! My vegetarian brother had the cheese burger and found it was "somewhat fast foody" if anyone knows what this means but he did say it was good. I had pancakes and loved it! The sausage was a little tough but tasted like a chippy sausage so fab! Also there is a speakeasy downstairs!

Better make a reservation, food's great! - Edit
Regarding the food I can't really complain. I also had the set veggie #2 and it had everything I needed (except Toast for some reason?). They even serve vegan bacon by now. And the hole thing was really good!
Read moreThe service was alright, too. Staff was nice.
But the place seems to be usually pretty crowded. So better make a reservation, especially on the weekends. We were lucky enough to get seats at the bar, otherwise we would have needed to wait 45 minutes...

Mixed bag meh! - Edit
The food was ok but a few improvements needed. I ordered the vegan set breakfast number 2. The vegan sausage was extremely hard so probably under cooked, the cherry tomatoes I could see where given like a seconds worth of heat so they were not soft either, the vegan bacon was over done and really hard to cut, beans really dry, hash browns a little on the oily side but the tofu scramble and Portobello mushrooms were delicious.
Read moreThe cafe was busy but the staff were very slow and quite a few seemed miserable. Me and a friend were sat at the bar and it took 20 minutes for someone to bring us a card reader to pay the bill. They wouldn't have even noticed had we walked out. There was one black woman working at the bar whose name I didn't catch but she was amazing, friendly and working extremely hard. For what you get it's definitely over priced. The breakfast club in Hackney Wick is better
Pros: Lots of vegan and veggie options, Can eat at the bar if no tables available
Cons: Expensive, Slow staff, Busy area

Amazing - Edit
Loved the hot chocolate, loved the all American breakfast but it's huge (also calorie-wise!), you need to be really hungry to finish it (I didn't eat anything else that day). It's quite expensive but considering the serving size it's fair

Excellent vegan options. Busy caf so try and book if you can. I’ve been here a couple of times and the food is always delicious. Service is excellent and the portions are huge. It’s on the expensive side but absolutely worth the money

Very fluffy vegan pancakes - Edit
I went out on my own to The Breakfast Club London Bridge branch (they have a few), at around 9:30 on a Sunday.
Read moreIt's always so busy, but luckily, they gave me a table outside straightway. The service is as friendly, young and hip as it gets, which makes it feel informal and relaxed.
On the menu, they had a couple of vegan options: two cooked breakfast options, avocado on toast (classic), and vegan pancakes. I was set on the pancakes since I had checked their menu from home, as the cautious vegan I am. I also had an oat milk cappuccino, which was very nice.
The pancakes came with a mountain of coconut whipped cream, berries and lemon zest, which really elevated it, since it always goes so well with berries. There was also a little pot with maple syrup, and I poured it all over my pancakes 👀 It was a generous stack, and I was full when I finished. The pancakes texture was very fluffy and spongy like a sheet cake, rather than the more dense pancake texture, but it worked well altogether.
Overall, it was a very filling and flavoursome breakfast. Good price for London standards. I'd love to come back.
Pros: Vegan pancakes (a rare event when eating out), Vegan cooked breakfast
Cons: It would be nice to have more vegan options
