A Haven for vegan Italian food

I've lived in Boston for over two decades and have never considered the North End a place where I could eat. Terramia has happily proved me wrong! They offer vegan options for appetizers, main courses, wine, and dessert. You can even get a bean-based dip for the delicious bread they serve with your meal! The wait staff is super knowledgeable about what's vegan and everything is clearly labeled on the menu. Will definitely return.

Tasty options, lovely ambience

We loved that they have vegan options for every course. The ravioli was delicious, as was the bean dip served with the bread! The mood was amazing.

Amazing

Would give 5 stars if able to on this platform. Fantastic anniversary spot. Rolls with white bean dip, shared baby green salad and meatballs apps, and both had the ravioli. Excellent service

Many options that can be made vegan

Beautiful cozy Boston neighborhood. Good Italian food with several options that are vegan or can be made vegan. Would love to go back and try other dishes.

Great vegan options in the North End

Can’t wait to go back! Excellent food. Excellent service. Clearly shown vegan menu options. It’s Italian food in the North End! Loved it! My wife had the vegan ravioli. I had the vegan Risotto. We shared the vegan meatballs for the starter. All were great and would highly recommend! Make a reservation if you can, it’s a relatively small space.

I’d give it five stars if I could.

Pros: Excellent food., Excellent service., North End vibe!

The white bean dip + lots of options for dinner

The white bean dip is the best way to start any meal here! I have tried all the vegan options and they are all delicious. I usually get the ravioli, but the gnocchi and spaghetti/meatballs are also excellent. My favorite date night spot!

Go to vegan friendly place in north end

Small family owned restaurant with a healthy amount of vegan options. Their butter bean bread dip is something I crave weekly. They have vegan ravioli, an actually good vegan spring salad, and a couple of vegan pasta options. For dessert usually a sorbet or two. If you like Italian food this place is worth checking out! Staff are very knowledgeable about what id and isn’t vegan. Things are clearly labeled on menu for most part

Perfect North End dinner

I was in town for a conference and had heard all about the North End, but couldn’t find many vegan options. Luckily I stumbled upon Terramia. Multiple vegan options and knowledgeable about their menu. I got the ravioli and broccoli rabe. Both were delicious. If we are ever in Boston again I’ll definitely come back.

Pros: Vegan options, Cute venue , Friendly staff

Vegan gnocchi was amazing!

This is by far one of my favorite restaurants I’ve ever been to. The staff was so sweet and the service was excellent. I got the vegan gnocchi and it is by far the best gnocchi I have ever had. My husband got the vegan meatballs and spaghetti and it was amazing. They even had vegan wine.

Authentic North End Experience for Vegans!

It is so rare to have good, authentic Italian food as a vegan. I had all but given up on my beloved quaint corner restaurants with tablecloths and staff that make you feel like you’re at home until I came here. We made a reservation (which I recommend because it’s a smaller space with only a handful of tables). We were probably the only party who made a 4pm reservation but we had tickets for an event later and wanted to give ourselves enough time. When we walked it it was like they were welcoming family home. They took our coats and put them on a coat rack and had a table already set up for us. Complimentary bread with a white bean dip was delicious. I got the Vegan Ravioli and will be dreaming about it for days. Even my non-vegan partner said he wished he got that instead. Overall a great experience, wish I could give them 5/5 stars.

Delicious Italian food!

Vegan gnocchi was absolutely amazing! The staff was super knowledgeable and accommodating. The menu is clearly labeled with vegan options, with about 4 main dishes choose from and tons of vegan sides as well. Complimentary bread and bean dip is vegan as well and very tasty. Definitely would like to come back and try more of the menu!

Good food but not the friendliest

I came here for a fancy date night with my partner on a recent trip to Boston. We specifically picked this place because it appears to be incredibly vegan-friendly, which is rare for an authentic Italian restaurant. We had the polenta and meatball appetizer, a salad, the gnocchi, and the ravioli. The food was solid; however, our waiter seemed displeased when we told him we were only interested in vegan items. He then went to the back and told the other staff members, and they rolled their eyes and laughed. This place is tiny, and it wasn’t very crowded then, so they were clearly unconcerned with us hearing them. I’ve been vegan for almost 27 years and have a pretty thick skin about these things, but if a restaurant doesn’t actually want to welcome vegan guests, perhaps they shouldn’t indicate their willingness to accommodate us.

Pros: Authentic and intimate, Many vegan-friendly options

Cons: Rude staff, Expensive for the service received

Good vegan choices

We had the gnocchi and the risotto, both prepared vegan. They were really good but not blow your hair back amazing. If I was able to give them 5 stars I would still stay at 4.

Cute little restaurant with a number of vegetarian options!

Small place with delicious food. Had an eggplant app with ricotta (not vegan) and spaghetti with plant-based meatballs. Even had vegan wine! A great option on the North End for vegetarians and vegans.

Amazing vegan food!

Some of my favorite vegan food I've ever had! We had mushroom gnocchi and mushroom risotto. I'm not even a huge fan of mushrooms, but these were both delicious! A great date night spot in the North End!

BEST VEGAN FOOD IN NORTH END

Omg, I just love this place! I go with my friends, my partner, my parents, and whoever else will go! It's delicious and the atmosphere is perfect.

When I go, I usually get the gnocchi, but I've tried a few different options and none have disappointed. It's literally so yummy and good! The only negative aspect is that if you don't have a reservation, there's a pretty high chance you'll wait a long time.

Pros: Amazing drinks, Great options

Cons: Long wait without reservation

Glad it’s there but not great

I’m happy that the restaurant has several vegan options including gnocchi, risotto and ravioli, but the overall experience felt rushed, and the food was overly salty.

Pros: Three vegan mains, Cozy restaurant , Good choice if dining with omnis

Cons: Dinner felt rushed, Too salty , No coffee or tea(they want you out!)

Very expensive and not too impressive

I got the vegan ravioli and it didn’t come with much and it was like 27$. It was kind of disappointing it was okay but definitely not worth the price. I wouldn’t waste the money. The place was also very small, we were basically on top of the table next to us. We could hear there entire conversation and could barley even think because of how loud it was in there. The menu is also confusing as some things are labeled vegan but yet you have to take the cheese off. All around I will not be going back, I would save your money on a vegan restaurant. It’s not an awful option if you’re eating with non vegans though and are looking to spend a pretty penny on food.
