Während unseres Berlintrips haben wir dieses tolle Restaurant entdeckt und waren sofort begeistert, da wir bislang noch kein griechisches Lokal mit veganem Angebot gefunden haben. Die Atmosphäre war gemütlich, das Personal super freundlich und vor allem kompetent. Der tollste Moment war, als man die Speisekarte aufklappte und die veganen Gerichte direkt auf der ersten Seite standen. 💚
Read moreMein Partner entschied sich für veganes Bifteki und ich für das vegane Gyros. Als Vorspeise gab es das Knoblauchbrot mit veganem Tzaziki. Die Portionen waren mehr als ausreichend und vor allem sooo lecker!! Somit ist das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis top! Wenn wir das nächste Mal in Berlin sind, kommen wir wieder! 🥰

Read moreThey have a vegan menue offering 3 different Greek specialties. The vegetables are fresh and the flavours so good and intense.
The staff is also so friendly, nice and sweet.

Geschmacklich genauso wie das Original!
Geschmacklich waren die Speisen toll.
Sehr gut fand ich die Pommes, die kross und lecker waren. Der Zaziki war sehr gut gewürzt.
Einen Stern Abzug gibt es dafür, dass die Bifteki eher mit Beyond Burgern zu vergleichen waren - traditionell befindet sich Feta in Hacksteak, hier leider keine Schafskäse-Alternative.
Schade, darauf hatte ich mich gefreut.
Sehr freundliche Bedienung, guter Service!
Pros: Außergewöhnliche Speisenauswahl, die sonst nicht v, Sehr gut gewürzt, toller Geschmack , Toller Servis
Cons: Bifteki enthielten kein Schafskäseequivalent, Sehr kleine Portion Zaziki

Good choices for vegans! - Edit
Als a half greek myself who is also vegan I always found it a challenge to find a greek restaurant in Berlin which serves vegan food.
Read moreWith Taverna Olive I was finally able to eat amazing vegan greek food. I had the vegan gryos with fries and vegan tzatziki. Needless to say that I absolutely loved it. My boyfriend had the normal gyros and my Mum the garides sharas - they also really liked their dishes.
So if you miss greece or want to experience the greek cuisine than this is the place for you!

Gave us WRONG non-vegan Tzaziki! - Edit
The vegan Gyros and the vegan Souvlaki was very good but unfortunately when I tried ordering a vegan starter they lacked of options. So I just ordered grilled peppers as they are always vegan, but they served it with a portion of tzaziki on the same plate and I asked again if it’s vegan and they straight up looked me in the eyes and said yes. We also ordered separately a vegan tzatziki and my non-vegan greek boyfriend immediately tasted the difference and when we told them they were just a little bit sorry but didn’t care so much, we even had to still pay for this starter. I was very sad about this, as I‘m also allergic to milk and it wasn’t declared in the card and who serves tzaziki to grilled peppers?

Really good vegan Greek food. It’s a bit more expensive than other vegan options in the area, but has great service, a nice atmosphere and it’s great alternative since vegan Greek restaurants are rare

Overall nice food, the vegan Gyros was very very delicious. Vegan Tzatziki was a bit mediocre. In general a bit expensive for what you get would be my opinion
