My husband had a salad and I had the vegan enchiladas. They were absolutely amazing- I’d eat them again a hundred times! Unfortunately, there weren’t very many vegan options on the menu.

Vegan options clearly marked. Had jackfruit enchiladas and grilled avocado salad. Many vegan options and really good. Seating is nearly all outdoors, even the inside seating opens up to the patio if fresh air is your thing. Vegan dessert, too!

This was our third or fourth time to Tac/Quila. We have always been bowled over by the foodie quality of our meals, the amazing staff, and the gorgeous design sense and vibe of the location. From reading the previous reviews, my guess is they have updated their menu to clearly reflect the vegan choices, have improved the preparation of their dishes, and have trained the staff in what is vegan as is and what can be made vegan. I highly recommend the jackfruit enchiladas ~ every bite is heaven. The vegan fruit Florentine dessert has delicious fruit and pastry, but I wasn't sure what the white filling was made of, and it had an odd consistency. Otherwise, just a top drawer experience all around. Will be back when I return to PS.

We had high expectations going to this Michelin guide restaurant. The service was great. However, the food was uninspired. It lacked freshness and heart. We had the Huitlachoche tamale to start, which was pretty good. The grilled avocado salad was a bit flavorless. The jackfruit enchiladas were decent a little dry though, and not nearly as good as other places in the Coachella Valley. Finally, the Vegan Cochinita Pibil was lacking in freshness, contrast and texture—basically one note. In short, there are much better vegan Mexican meals all over CV so we won’t be back.

Made a reservation online. Sat outside on the covered patio which was lovely. Service was great. The paper menu does not label what is vegan, but the online version does. Had the taco chips as appetizer which was actually crispy pastry stuffed with beans and were delicious. Veggie fajitas were delicious too - comes with white rice as the verde rice is not vegan. Very few restrooms available inside. Free street parking. No vegan dessert.

had the mushroom taco. beans and white rice on the side. the green rice is make with chicken broth, but not the white rice. our servers knew what was vegan or not, contrary to a prior user’s review. they were well informed. service was excellent. went for lunch and sat in the back patio. would go back

Expectations are everything in Palm Springs, and when it comes to PS food mine are super low. With nearly every restaurant on the strip barely offering vegan options, I was pleasantly surprised by the flavorful Mushroom Tacos (hold the dairy to make vegan) and Grilled Avocado Salad (vegan as is).
Read moreDon't expect the almost robotic staff to have any idea what is or isn't vegan. Just check the menu online (which marks vegan and vegetarian items) and pick from the less than 5 possible vegan items. There is not much better to be found elsewhere.

Really enjoyed the vibe of the place. The in person menu is not labeled for vegan/vegetarian items, however online it does have labels - not sure why there is a discrepancy. I shared the grilled avocado salad, black bean salad, and veggie fajitas. I was not thrilled with the cooked veggies in the salads - they tasted mealy and old but otherwise the salads were good. The fajita veggies were excellent.

Staff didn’t seem to care about dietary preferences/restrictions. When asking about vegan options we were constantly reassured there were vegetarian options (not how that works) Some options labeled vegan we were told are actually vegetarian (but have refried beans cooked in lard in them??)

At least a half a dozen vegan items as of early 2022. Good chips, salsas, and several hearty salad options. Vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free items all clearly labeled on the menu.
