Delicious locally-made food! - Edit
The owner is lovely, and was able to show me specifically what I was looking for without fuss. The schnitzel they make themselves is delicious.

A shop filled with tasty stuff - Edit
I love cheese and was looking for a place that had it and found this place. Oh boy am I happy that I did. It's a small place packed with vegan food and the staff was super friendly, buy offering help, advice and also gave planty of taste test to make sure we knew what we were buying. I bought the soy joghurt all excited and as soon as I found a spoon I tried it and fell in love. I've tried plenty of vegan joghurts based on soy and oats, but this really next level stuff. Also you can bring back the glas container that the joghurt comes in and get a discount on your new batch, enviroment friendly! What a pleasure to have found this place and it's worth a visite to the Levinsky market here it's loacated.

Hidden gem - Edit
This small store offers a great variety of vegan products. From meat substitutes (frozen burgers, vegan "tuna", vegan caviar) to cheeses and yogurts that are made weekly by the owners (some of the best I've had).

An Innovative and creative artisan - Edit
Taste for Life carries many of the same products (nuts, seeds, spices, dried fruits) that are carried by stores in the same location. What is quite unique however is the rich array of high quality vegan products hand made by the proprietor Daniel. For years I have been disappointed by the quality of the tofu and tempeh carried by the larger chains of health food stores here in Israel. Finally Daniel at Taste of Life has provided 2 kinds of tofu and 4 kinds of tempeh that could hold their own in Asia. He creates his own line of cheeses and crackers. I recently tried the chickpea, flax seed and nigella seed crackers which were to die for. This week Daniel is launching his own yogurt made from coconut milk. In the land of 700 kinds of dairy yogurt in the vegan paradise called Israel, no one has yet managed to produce and market a vegan yogurt! This may be a first. And I want to be there when it happens.
